The Breed

The Breed

Brothers John and Matt have inherited an island cabin from their recently deceased uncle. Along with Matt's girlfriend, Nicki, and other mutual friends, the siblings travel to the cabin for a relaxing weekend getaway. But, not long after arriving, the group is besieged by ravenous dogs. They watch in horror as another vacationer, Luke, is eaten alive. Soon, they discover a training facility where the dogs have been bred to kill.

The movie follows a group of five college kids who find their relaxing summer getaway turning into a bloody battle for survival when they are soon under attack by a pack of feral dogs and trapped in the cabin, where they try to outwit the fidos and escape. . Brandon W (de) wrote: Patton is a masterpiece that I can see why Doug Walker put this as one of his favorite films. George C. Scott gives a tour de force performance that he pretty much lives that role, which is perfect casting for General Patton. You can tell by the first few minutes of the film that it's going to be quite the film when Patton gives a speech that was really good. The film lays out a lot of information to the main character in 178 minutes, but it seems like a respectful way to honor him for what he has done in history. The writing is terrific, and the film is pretty factual from what I read in the history books which some of the events are quite shocking that you would never thought that Patton did that. The film shows how Patton is famous and that the soldiers would fight to the death with him as the main character really wanted to end the war, no matter the cost. They don't make Patton too unlikeable as he gives out some funny moments or actually apologizes for some of his actions, and the battle scenes look really good and realistic. Patton is quite an experience to watch that there is no other film, that's related to General Patton, can be better than this, and there's no other actor that can play it better than George C. Scott.
