Don S (ag) wrote: Definitely up there for the weirdest movie I've ever seen. Weird bad, not weird good. This is not for the squeamish. It tackles, in living color, such topics as voyeurism, incest, self mutilation, mental illness, and sexual perversion. All of this is tied together through the delusion of circus acts. To say it wasn't for me is a vast understatement.

Michael H (nl) wrote: A great lost noir with a completely mercenary leading lady, twist after twist after twist as identities and motives are unpeeled, and (almost) every character constantly looking to find their footing and gain some advantage as the story plays out. This film is a treasure restored to us by the Film Noir Foundation.

Aiden R (mx) wrote: The movie itself was okay, but adding in a villain that has very predictable lines and actions really kills this. Also, some of the backstories on these characters in this new timeline really can mess with someone's brain. While Michael And McAvoy did a good job, along with a handful of other actors, I am not to sure about Oscar Isaac's Apocalypse though. Also the beginning, They really had no ideas, as everything was made up of fairly simple ideas. But I'm not going to pick on every speck, as there were amazing parts in the movie, like Quicksilver's part, and Havok's , "Wreak Havok" part in Cerebro. But as for that, their were other good parts, but their are equal if not a tiny amount more cons than pros.
