John A (br) wrote: This Is Probably The Greatest Jaws Rip-Off Ever. Following The Exact Same Plot As Jaws, The Residents Of A Small Town Have To Go Up Against Pre-Historic Sand Tiger Sharks. Add In A Shark Specialist (Brooke Hogan), Some Terrible Acting, It's Ripped Off Plot, Bad Scripting And Horrible Acting, We Are Left With What Is A Great Rip-Off But At The Same Time, Horribly Made This Film Is Terrible And I Didn't Find It The So Bad It's Good. It's Barely Viewable.

Dean M (au) wrote: Not a bad action film adapted by the popular manga with Shawn Yue and Francis Ng. There were some cool fight and slow-motion scenes as well as the artistic element in this film worked well for me. There were a lot of random violence, but the movie was about the pain the protagonist had to suffer through, and I thought it was a fine movie.

Nathan A (it) wrote: A thoroughly entertaining action adventure romp! Jack Sparrow could be Johnny's Depp's defining role.

Grande P (au) wrote: Dang this was a great movie! The acting was great i dont see nothing wrong with it. People really overlook good movies i guess. Mariah Carey was the reason why i watched it and she did fantastic. It ended very very well.

Aephraim S (mx) wrote: Visually sumptuous, splendidly acted, and thoughtful all at once. How sad that "Grand Budapest Hotel" gets so bally-hooed while this far more interesting work remains largely unknown to N American audiences.

Brad S (es) wrote: First saw this almost 20 yrs ago. It's an entertaining film, and the first time i saw Heather Graham. The story is fun, and it has a great cast including Bruce Dern, Lou Gossett Jr., and Oliver Platt. Give it a watch!

John R (es) wrote: Better than the last one and points the viewer towards Freddy vs Jason (2003). Not much to recommend but I liked the battle of the baddies so the ending here got me excited. Ten years until that would happen though. Nothing worth writing about here other than those final few seconds.

Ryan C (br) wrote: This movie is the definition of guilty pleasure. It's like a horror-action-comedy but wanna know one of the best parts?? It's soundtrack is composed of nothing but entirely ACDC songs!! People getting killed by giant semi-trucks with ACDC playing in the background is awesome no questions asked. The movie is a lot of fun and highly underrated. It's a good time.

Robert H (us) wrote: plenty of people absolutely have a hate on for this film but I can't say I dislike it as much as most. The FX are decent and while it's another one of those, everything that can go wrong does go wrong, versus, the slimest chance of survival wins the day, I can't honestly hate the film. The acting is decent, the look of the film is pretty good, the CG still stands up even in HD, and despite the plot seeming to be absolutely ridiculous... it is still just a work of fiction and is mainly there to be entertaining. Of course, it could be more entertaining with a better story, but it isn't entirely boring even if there isn't much tension. Had everyone lived and made it home in some crazy happy ending, then I could honestly say, the film had little merrit. But this film doesn't shy away from people dying and for that alone, I'll give it some credit.

EQ R (au) wrote: It's a shame that due to the time the movie was made, that filmmakers were trying to imitate the style of "The matrix" and others like it. Due to this, Jet Li's style of fighting is not properly displayed with the overuse of special effects and such that hinder the authentic look of the fighting. With the films brisk running time of about an hour and twenty minutes, the film speeds by and wastes no time getting to the action, but only when it's done right. I'm not convinced Li was the right choice to lead the film but he makes it entertaining nonetheless with a early Jason Statham along side of him. Overall, entertaining at times but more of a time waster than anything. The last scene was one of the best parts. C-
