Marvin B (ag) wrote: A strikingly eccentric and very poetic film about the encounter of two characters - one who is troubled by his past while the other is worried about his future.

Mitchell W (it) wrote: In this installment, complacency fades for many. Curiously, a few stories aren't even updated from the last picture. A few marriages collapse, and a sense of dissatisfaction chips away at many of the individuals. Apted doesn't pull any punches either - he bluntly tells Tony that none of his capricious ambitions have materialized, and he doesn't hesitate when questioning Neil about his failures. I guess you can call this a collection of mid-life crises, with many individuals taking stock or exploring different paths. The one seeming exception: Bruce, whose idealism remains undiminished, in spirit and in practice.
