(au) wrote: A gun possessed by the spirit of a dead hooker causes a city planner to go on a murderous rampage targeting corrupt city officials. If that sounds good, settle down, because it's really not. Imagine a film written by a 13 year old boy who's never really had an experiences in the real world, so doesn't know much about how things work. This is that film. The cartoonish villain is the mayor of ... Paris, I guess ... who oddly enough seems to have no limits to his authority. The huge villainous scheme apperas to be letting real estate developers bribe officials to get building permits. Hardly the kind of crime that licenses mass murder.

So, most critics here, who obviously have NO idea about international politics should stick with criticizing non-political flicks they actually understand! Movie has some flaws (as ANY movie we know) but if you want to learn truth about 5 day war between Georgia and Russia, you will enjoy watching it.

(ru) wrote: We start in the middle of a tale of a young woman named Yoko and by the end of Caf Lumire .. well, let's just say it ain't hollywood, and a good thing it isn't. This movie is a little slice of life that is eloquent and charming as life often is if we look for it. It's slow movement and a questioning of how we keep ourselves safe or, more to the point, insulated stays with you long after the film has ended. Check it .. you won't regret it.
