Aaron M (mx) wrote: This movie throws you right in the mix with some brutal action sequences, bold characters and performances. Overall though the movie was quite bizarre and the ending extremely poor. The movie is very dark through out, the story is not the easiest to follow and quite forgettable.
Fu H (de) wrote: The banter is amazing; first time I've actually thought the comedy in an Indian film was actually funny. I wasn't a fan of the last half hour of the movie or so (once the couple get to India--the girl's father plays like a broken record for far too long).

George E (nl) wrote: An interesting film that slapped you on the face at the end - it went nowhere. *SPOILER AHEAD*With the flashbacks of the love story we all thought that it had something to do with the Carl's death, BUT IT DIDN'T.With the flashbacks of the Japanese guy's arrest we also thought that it might have led up to to it and that the dynamites had something to do with it. They didn't.At the opening scene you could easily tell that the man fell and drown as the Japanese guy wasn't there at all. So all we needed have to do is watch the opening scene and the end scene where they found blood on the gaff. This film's so pointless. The flashbacks were so unnecessary, as this was mainly a courtroom drama. Come on, we all knew that he wasn't guilty. WHAT A POINTLESS & UNNECESSARY FILM!

Senor C (it) wrote: I always enjoy John Water movies. Although not technically the most sound films due to budget restraints they are always offensively amusing leaving me either smiling or laughing. Female Trouble pulls no punches. Divine is in fine form just running away w/ this film as he/she proves that crime does indeed equal beauty. Just some great uproarious dialogue throughout that is sure to detour most people but I love it. Didn't need to see Edith Massey naked though. That sorta made me throw up in my mouth a bit but if Water's doesn't test your gag reflex he has probably failed to do what he has set out to do
