The Chocolate War torrent reviews

Al M (kr) wrote: If you have ever really wanted a zombie film featuring the reanimated corpses of the Donner Party, then you will most likely be disappointed in this film just like everyone else who watches it. A plodding, puerile, predictable piece of crap...

Irene S (de) wrote: a wonderful uplifting british drama about four strangers who go to the same tower to commit suicide but make a pack to not go ahead and do it but then do it on valentine's day to turn around and be in each other's lives to make them better.

Antonio E (kr) wrote: My 8 yr old wants me to buy it for him. I'm not gonna waste $ on this. Fine that he liked it. But what can we do. It's from a comic book.

sabrina i (jp) wrote: CRY DANGER is simply short and sweet. That's also part of the problem though. I felt like the film never really took off. Supporting characters are underdeveloped. Theres so many different directions the film could gone. The plot could have been as complex and smart as better noirs. Still, the film has a couple of great scenes and is a treat to watch because of the fun, snappy dialogue. I was glad I caught the film despite its shortcomings.

Ilsa L (nl) wrote: A haunting love story beautifully fimed.

Eliabeth N (br) wrote: I thought this movie was just awful. I adore Vivien Leigh, Claude Rains, and Stewart Granger, but even they couldn't rescue this film in the face of a terrible script and a plodding storyline. Ugh, ugh, and ugh. I will never attempt to watch it again.

Austin L (au) wrote: One of Garland's most sublime performances--and you know she's capable.

Dane P (fr) wrote: Visually striking especially for 1940 Gezz the animation is spectacular. My only gripe is that its pretty uneven in its delivery. Some sequences go on longer than needed like the one involving greek mythology. Whatever its still timeless

Matt C (mx) wrote: If I'd known this was a Friedkin movie I probably wouldn't have bothered, the man hasn't made a decent film in 30 odd years. This is a real turkey (and I'm not just referring to the Kentuck Fried Felatio scene). It's not funny at all and is basically just a trashy film about trashy people. Even the half-arsed psychic bit is just boring.
