A prospector sells his wife and daughter to another gold miner for the rights to a gold mine. Twenty years later, the prospector is a wealthy man who owns much of the old west town named Kingdom Come. But changes are brewing and his past is coming back to haunt him. A surveyor and his crew scouts the town as a location for a new railroad line and a young woman suddenly appears in the town and is evidently the man's daughter.

(us) wrote: Very odd and interesting premise that is full-on B-movie and doesn't try to be anything else. The acting sucks but the puppetry and animation of Belial is quite fascinating. It's a good time, not to be taken seriously.

(ag) wrote: Probably John Carpenter's last great horror movie and probably the only HP Lovecraft inspired movie that is in the conversation with Re-Animator and From Beyond. Creepy imagery and a plot that moves along nicely. Recommended for John Carpenter fans and Lovecraft fans.
