The Coming Days

Welcome to 2020: The European Union has collapsed following the fourth Gulf War and massive barricades keep illegal immigrants out of cities that are barely functioning. In the middle of this highly volatile environment is the family of Walter Kuper, an energy conglomerate executive. Walter’s daughter, Cecilia, has joined the Black Storm terrorist group. Her sister Laura must choose between motherhood and the man she loves; their brother Philip has been called into fight for Germany in a hopeless war to secure the last remaining oil fields. Starring leading actors Daniel Brühl, Johanna Wokalek and Jürgen Vogel, "The Days to Come" asks provocative questions about the current state of things as it depicts personal and political realities in a scarily believable near–future.

Steve M (br) wrote: It is a nice story, and in my mind, Anne is always most charming when she is little. Although I know that it isn't part of what L.M.M. wrote, it was still nice to go back and see the fiery orphan again. If you are a fan of the rest, you will like this one too.

Marco C (ca) wrote: naive, sweet, a little the history of many I know lifes!!!!

Alejandro L (kr) wrote: Esta es la tpica comedia en que no pasa nada, no se puede uno reir de nada, solo ver un gran enredo de muchas escenas juntas. Tpica comedia mala norteamericana.

Brian R (gb) wrote: Every kid in 1987 must have wanted to move to Hawaii to win surf competitions, date a local girl, and design surf logos during the summer before they go to graphic design school in New York. It is very charming though.

DISCO CHAD (mx) wrote: A movie about a teacher who has to handle a rowdy group of kids.

Petros T (gb) wrote: Why is this avant-garde "masterpiece" so embraced by everyone? Why is it considered to be a milestone of cinema since it is a mere experiment that takes itself really seriously and achieves only to bore? For this is a static, tiring film that perceives action sequences (I mean scenes where people do things) as fillers. The dialogues are so pompous that you don't have the mental strength to analyze them in order to find a piece of truth. I watched this hoping it'd give me something. It didn't.

Max L (ca) wrote: Garlic, Cajun Music, anything else?

Ken R (us) wrote: Best band ever sorry Beatles fans!!

Cory K (fr) wrote: Great visual and sound gags make for a satire about the parallels of both versions of the word modernity worth seeing over and over.

MF J (fr) wrote: John McTiernan is a master director and this time he's telling the story of an elite commando group who's been lost in the jungle and rescued while some of the members are gone missing. It's tensed, dramatic and portrayed by some of the most talented people in the industry. Great film.

Logan M (br) wrote: Its special effects are obviously outdated, and some of the dialogue is a little corny, but "TRON" is brilliantly entertaining.
