I dont know w (es) wrote: Supposedly, this movie had an option in the theaters if they wanted a good ending or a sad ending, because the director was pressured to make it an option as his ending was to depressing, but he made sure that the good ending was the one that lost, always. So yeah, a film with history and a decent premise, I feel like seeing it.

Yousif V (us) wrote: Like watching an train trying to push itself up a hill that isn't really there. There was no need for this movie to be made. NONE. I did enjoy the bits with John Kreese though.

Tracy F (us) wrote: Sweet Jesus I am so glad I did not see this in a theater. But I am fairly certain I would not be the only one that is a blubbering mess right now. What a beautiful story of the friendship between women. Hillary Swank's best role and that says a whole lot. Emmy Rossum, wow. How she held her shit together in this movie I will never know. Such a powerful movie.

Jonathan D (us) wrote: This is a terrible John Wayne film. It has a stupid love story, Way too Long at 2 1/2 hours and almost Zero Plot. It was probably neat to see the African Landscape in1962. I love John Wayne films, but not this piece of elephant dung!
