Seon-hwa is a new student at an elite medical school, and she is initiated into a dissection class headed by Dr. Han along with five other students, including her boyfriend Ki-beom. After the first class the students all start to share the same nightmare involving a one-eyed surgeon, and one by one they start to be murdered, the victims being discovered with their hearts removed. Seon-hwa and Ki-beom are convinced that these events are related to a beautiful cadaver with a rose tattoo on her breast, and they begin an investigation to uncover her identity.

Kevin R (fr) wrote: One of the most ambiguous casts I've seen in a movie. I dunno if there's a point to it or it's a joke on the audience. Not a terrible story overall and pretty entertaining. .

Drew R (br) wrote: Moving performances from the primary cast and further proof after Stranger than Fiction that Ferrell can be a great dramatic actor. Considering this was basically my life last year (losing girl and job at same time) I know what it's like to hit that bottom. Realistic ending didn't leave me feeling I'd wasted my time.

Greg S (kr) wrote: The unexplained 1900 Valentine's Day disappearance of four schoolgirls and a teacher affects the residents and neighbors of an all-girl college in Australia. This gauzy meditation on sexual repression and loss can have a hypnotic effect on those susceptible to its mysterious moods, while others find it an inconclusive bore. Both sides have an argument, but in general the good here outweighs the bland.

Lenard K (jp) wrote: Kyoto professors and university students protest the growing militarization of Japan leading up to World War II. Kurosawa movie starring Setsuko Hara that seems to echo some of the European themes explicit in Spain, and often implicitly underlying WWII where anyone who isn't a fascist is accused of being a Communist. A bit odd seeing Hara, who often played perfect girl-next-door characters play a character who starts off as a spoiled brat and transforms into a mud covered rice farmer.

MF J (ru) wrote: A good old thriller with a great cast & a pretty straight forward type of story. Roberts & Gibson are awesome.
