Amanda H (gb) wrote: This starts off fairly cute and quirky, albeit a little bit annoying because Lucy Liu's character is SO over the top... and then it completely falls apart in the second half. I stopped caring what was going on a good half hour before it ended. Too bad, because I love Cillian Murphy and the movie does have potential, but I guess there's a reason I found this in the discount bin.

This gritty "man with no name" legend takes his tough gruff personality and extreme shooting skills form the old west to the "modern" city. Thrilling action, Great score, cinematography, soundtrack, acting was spot on from everyone. Not as action packed or filled with women and explosions but it gets the job done in trying to take downs this sniper in a gritty real life scenario. This is the film that started the rogue cop genre and none have ever come close to this iconic film. Did I mention it has arguably the greatest one-liner in cinema history? Bob K (us) wrote: This is a fun little heist film, which takes a while to engage the audience, in part because of some rather bizarre introductions. It's a parody of sorts of director Jules Dassin's original heist caper, Rififi, but the actual heist is worth waiting for, as the tension is quite...well, intense. A very self-conscious film, with bizarre (to modern audiences) elements that pays off in the end.

Early in the film, the authorities are seen as menacing, while the well-respected rancher and kind grandfather is a Nazi agent.
