Purvesh K (ca) wrote: One of best movies I have ever seen. Story is about organized crime in UP and how police tackles that.Story, screen play, direction , editing are fantastic.Sushant Singh and Arshad Warsi have acted brilliantly. It was difficult to say who performed better, both of them carried movie beautifully.I might have seen this movie 4 times and still when I saw it again on TV tonite, I was glued to the idiot box!!Watch this movie, better buy the DVD.

It is not a surprise to me that another crappy, poorly written, thriller filled with plenty of D actors can pass as a scary film these days. It is sad that slasher films constantly keep being dragged down by mainly the same old story. While watching this I noticed that I should make a thriller. All it seems I have to do is watch a bunch of other thrillers, take the parts I like from them and squish them together write a whole bunch of sware words and screaming, and then Wa la I'm done. Now all I need is a bunch of kids right out of high school who never acted before and I got myself a blockbuster. Man I'm a genius, why hasn't any one else thought of this before. Anyways, one boy kills himself because he gets picked on by a bunch of other boys. The others get sent to a slightly deserted island where they all meet their inevitable and not very surprising fate, they all die by ............ I wouldn't want to give away the great twist lol. I started watching a drama but me and my friends couldn't stay interested. We ended up on this gem somehow, it kept our interest because we spent the whole time making fun of it. Ultimately a waste of time but if you like these kinds of sloppy writen thrillers here is another dust collecter to put on your shelf. 0 awards and nominations.

Jesse R (ag) wrote: In the late 1970s and early 1980s there were two martial artists that were very popular on the screen. Chuck Norris and the late David Carradine, and in this film, they both go head to head. This movie is a prelude to Norris' role in the TV show Walker, Texas Ranger (1993-2001), which the odd thing is Norris would star as Walker 10 years after this movie. J.J. McQuad (Norris) is a take charge kinda Ranger and wants to do things his own way, but things don't turn out that way, as he's partnered with Kayo (Robert Beltran) and along with FBI agent Jackson (Leon Isaac Kennedy) take down Rawley Wilkes (Carradine) and his regime. With the help of Kayo and Jackson, McQuad also rescues his Daughter Sally (Dana Kimmell) who was kidnapped by Wilkes. Norris and Carradine explode on the big screen.

James G (jp) wrote: Hard to find movies from the 80s that don't date themselves, and this is one of them. From Phillip Glass' tense soundtrack to the well crafted warfare, this film will stand as one of the Vietnam war movie greats.
John Eric D (it) wrote: I love metallica as well as the Metal genre itself.. This movie? yeah i love it. But then still lacks some of my expectations especially its Metallica thus the subject never interests me at some point. I need more gladiator brutality and more fight scenes but that was me anyways. Awesome metallica concert as always.. 4 out of 5
