(de) wrote: I nudged the triangle as little as possible, but there's nothing between 0 and 10 to get it to register. Worst film I've seen this year(out of about 70) - heck, the worst I've seen in a long, long time. The production values are epically bad. This is far worse than some of my teenage back-yard film attempts - I know, I may be bias, but seriously. I make it a point NOT to turn movies off, but at the 40 minute mark I realized there was no way the film could recover for a 1/10 - even though I'm forced to give it that rating here. Take your three dollars and donate it. The filmmakers should take every dollar they make and do the same.

(br) wrote: It's an OK flick. Some good scenes (the Japanese solders committing suicide by blowing themselves up with grenades) and a lot of hokey scenes (the Japanese soldiers all crying over the dead farm boy from Oklahoma). This is no masterpiece.
(ag) wrote: Really quite an interesting little story. With great actors. But too long drawn out. And a really bad ending, that leaves everything up in the air..and is not worth the wait. Give this one a miss.
(es) wrote: Good plot and actors, but just not interesting. Suspense, comedy, charm, it's lacking it all.
(de) wrote: Most amazing movie of all time. Up there with such timeless classics as Casablanca and Breakfast at Tiffany's. Classic humor and amusing antics.. who wouldn't love spending a few hours monkeying around with Dunstin and the crew.
(jp) wrote: Uh, no thanks. By the end of the movie I felt like I needed to take a shower or something to wash away the creepiness in this film. And the audience and reviewers generally liked this a lot?? Hard to comprehend.
(fr) wrote: The jokes are a little obscure but it still makes for some great comedy.

(es) wrote: Barbarella is a campy and hilariously below par movie. In its sexualisation and ridiculous story lines, as well as the random strange-accented characters, this movie is surprisingly fun to watch. There is so much going on, and so little coherence in story-development, it's obvious no one took the movie seriously whilst making it, so neither should you. Jane Fonda, in all her splendour and iconic sexuality, is a marvel to watch, as she travels the galaxy, fighting and loving. This movie will be bookmarked for when I need to share this light-hearted fun with friends of same taste.
