BLOODLUST continues the SUBSPECIES vampire saga at its own leisurely pace, retracing many of the same plot points from the previous films but with far less success. It isn't without its moments, however. Michele's first attempt to lure her prey using her new-found powers is highly atmospheric and brilliantly shot using only the most basic editing techniques as effectively as possible. The contrast between Denise Duff's pale beauty and Anders Hove's sinister, rat-like appearance set against their dark surroundings also makes for a number of striking images. Their sexual tension continues to grow as they push and pull away from one another in a game of cat and mouse. Although it takes a step down from the second film, fans of the series are still sure to enjoy this third entry. -Carl ManesI Like Horror Movies

No, this one is about character, integrity, and principals. It's about not changing yourself, about standing up for what you believe in. Even if it means you lose everything you have: your job, your loved ones, your own life. People care far less about means anymore, ultimately it's the ends that matter.A story of two princes of the Big Apple, heads of opposing empires and yet friends. They grew up and grew apart but they never lost a sense of loyalty. A cascading series of events will send each to the extreme pole of their policies. One a paragon of virtue and the other to cold murder. The killing of others is a slippery slope, and soon the black prince kills again. This time for the love of a friend. Yet a sin for love earns the worst wage. Not the usual shotgun wit we've come to expect from William Powell but he holds his own. Gable is as full of charm and dash as ever.
Tatsuhito K (kr) wrote: I love Paul Verhoeven's direction, and I enjoyed watching the two leads ferociously going against each other, whether they are having sex or not. It does a good job at keeping the suspense, and some of the sex scenes are quite interesting to watch (some of them are so ridiculous and I couldn't stop thinking "nah, his dick would've been broken in half in that position".) But it takes an awful lot of time to get to the conclusion, and by the time it gets there you interest is already sizzled away. Basic Instinct is a cinematic wet dream that's rather frustrating than pleasurable.

Leonard D (ru) wrote: Yeah, I know that the costumes and set design were spectacular, but this film winning best picture of 1998, I don't get it! It had mediocre performances, and Gwyneth Paltrow.....ehh....I don't understand why she won an Oscar for her role either.
Kevin S (jp) wrote: This corny comedy is about Johnny Dingle who is a nerdy kid and has had a crush on a kid since they were young. Now in high school and has a boyfriend Johnny comes up with this plan to have his friend rob the convenience store she works at and Johnny comes in and saves her and she will supposedly fall in love with him and will accept him and they go to the prom. But a real robber comes in and Johnny jumps in front of the bullet and saves her and sends him to his grave. He comes back to life as a zombie and tries to continue his life like normal but soon his body starts to fall apart and he must eat flesh from the living in order to stay alive which he wants to at least till the prom so he can take missy. There's nothing really wrong with this movie It is kinda fun to watch but you get toward the end and you kinda scratch your head like what kinda ending is that? That's got to be the most cheesiest and corny ending ever on a movie. Like I said its not perfect by all means but it is still entertaining and worth at least one watch.
