Maggie L (us) wrote: This movie would have made more sense if Jason Schwartzman was even vaguely desirable, or the narration not interrupting to ham-fistedly use words like "remiss" to remind us that this is supposed to be all novelesque. The cinematography is bad, everyone quietly mumbles and the sound mix is terrible. East coast filmmakers: lift your damn game already.

Benjamin B (us) wrote: It's familiar formula but there are certain elements that spice up the plot and there is an impressively consistent flow of spunky energy, not to mention the animation itself is very impressive. A fairly amusing if unspectacular animated movie.

Bill B (gb) wrote: This film frustrated me at every turn, as it starts out rather front loaded with emotional character-related stuff, then continues to exploit that as characters become possessed by the titular creature/character. The paranoia and distrust sort of reminded me of the turn that things take in a film like Cabin Fever, but aside from the interpersonal relationship stuff, there's not a lot to set this aside from other 'trapped in the woods' horror fare.Rental, maybe?

There's enough zombie action to please the fans, but there's also other things going on around to not be just the same thing as always. Also a good portray of how no matter what's going on in the world, rich douchbags will always try to screw others into having more.

[101 Reykjavik] is an average comedy-drama about a careless & casual sloven, "the offspring of a boozer & a lesbian", who is reluctant to grow up & taking his responsibility. There are some screwball, funny moments although the film tone is not that coherent somehow.

Alex r (jp) wrote: Josie and the Pussycats is an awful mess of a film. The film is poorly constructed with a bland, boring script, a terrible choice of actors and stupid. The film is a waste of celluloid and it insults the viewers' intelligence. Do yourself a favor and skip this film. I was forced to watch this and it was painful from start to finish. I really hated the film and it was a big waste of time. Tara Reid is a horrible actress that just has no talent to speak. This film is proof that studios will green light anything to make a quick buck. I'm all for a good comedy, but crap like this has no place in the cinematic genre. Watch something else instead; this is not worth your time. With a poor direction and a sloppily written script, Josie and the Pussycats fails to entertain. This is an awful comedy that just doesn't cut it. The dialogue is cringe worthy, the jokes are horrible and fall flat there is no substance here and it's a train wreck of a movie that never should have seen the light of day.
