Michael T (fr) wrote: It looked real, seemed real, but it probably wasn't. It doesn't take away from the story and "realness" the participants played in it. An interesting film.

As the story unfolds, larger themes of finding meaning and purpose in life are also skilfully explored in a whimsical manner under the direction of Richard Lowenstein. Noah Taylor is perfect as Danny and I've never seen Damien Walshe-Howling in such good form as he is here as Milo. This Australian low budget indie flick is an absolute gem and it is highly recommended!
Lee B (it) wrote: I will admit that I only watched this because of Salma. I would think that even the people who read the script would have thought that this was absolute crap by the time it was the 90s. And I know they were chained together, but it should never be mentioned alongside The Defiant Ones. Not-A-Remake.

At times the black-and-white footage works well and there are snippets of some really nice imagery, but I didn't like the whole film being void of colour. Videohound states that this 'emphasizes the dark world in which vampires operate' but I prefer the Interview With The Vampire imagery of it heightening the senses and that just doesn't work with this medium, you also miss the red of the blood which I enjoy... maybe a black-and-white film where the only colour is the blood would work? The Portishead songs fit well with Nadja's character and made me want to dig out their albums as I haven't listened to them for a while. Peter Fonda as Van Helsing is quite mad and reminded me of Sexy Goldfish!

Andrey B (jp) wrote: Looks like a poetry, truly poetic film examining the questions of love between men and women, searching an answer within woman's soul. Ascetisism in the picture of the film is fascinating. Great film of a great director.

Gordon H (mx) wrote: Hillarious and inventive! Ben Stiller has never been better!A 2006 fantasy-comedy adventure film, 'Night at the Museum' tells the story of a divorced father (Ben Stiller) trying to settle down, impress his son, and find his destiny. He applies for a job as a night watchman at the American Museum of Natural History in NYC, where he discovers that the exhibits, animated by a magical Egyptian artifact, come to life at night! One of my favorite comedies of all time, this film is hillarious and inventive! Ben Stiller has never been better than he is in the role of Larry Daley, the American Museum of Natural History's new night watchman. Featuring some laugh-out-loud performances by Dick Van Dyke, Mickey Rooney, Owen Wilson, Steve Coogan, Ricky Gervais, Bill Cobbs, Carla Gugino, and Robin Williams, this movie is a riot! Highly recommended!
Andrew I (us) wrote: Very slow until Oliver Reed arrives about halfway through, bringing with him some much-needed werewolf action. The last 5 minutes were quite amusing, and there are some funny goats making human noises at times, but it really wasn't enough to sustain any real interest or suspense. Barely 6/10.
Trevor M (de) wrote: While at first viewing I loved it, I've noticed some problems - being - the film tries to just find a way to get people to visit the park again 22 years after the events of the original park/film, and little to no character development. While I enjoy the film, mostly due to the impressive visual effects and admittedly great acting from Chris Pratt fresh off the success of Marvel film Guardians Of The Galaxy I still feel it could have been improved by fixing the problems I mentioned.
