Alex A (ca) wrote: Ever since I began obsessing with A Clockwork Orange, not long after I started obsessing with its director Stanley Kubrick. Providing fifteen minute chapters/sections based on each of his finished and unfinished films, as well as his private and public life, A Life in Pictures is an interesting documentary detailing the life of one of cinemas most controversial, yet groundbreaking directors of all time. Definitely recommended for Kubrickians, A Life in Pictures is an enlightening watch for anyone interested in one of Hollywood's most innovative directors.

Jason T (ag) wrote: Hopkins is fun to watch in this overwise by the numbers heist movie. No real thrills and feels so average. Most of the performances and characters are not memorable.

Serge L (es) wrote: I can't believe I had not seen it. I missed a few Jim Carrey I guess. Still a riot in spite of the 20 years aged. I'm sur I would have given it one more star years ago. I am pretty sure there is at least one french or french canadian film that was more intellectually funny with the premise that one's liar could not lie anymore.
