Jeremy W (it) wrote: Reviewers who are writing that they are "not interested" in even seeing this film are simply unwilling to ask the question that any intelligent person would ask first: "Is it true?" While not the most dynamic presentation of the material, this film presents a persuasive case against Islam as a "religion of peace" from its inception to the present day by closely examining the Koran, Hadith and Life of Muhammed. I would challenge anyone to listen to what the film says before judging it as intolerant. Listen to what the film says and refute its ideas with data and sound reason, but don't hide your head in the sand. The stakes are too high no matter where you finally come down on the issue.

Rory S (it) wrote: This was really sad...that they wasted the time of Bonham-Carter and Pearce on this 'potentially' good and working premise, but to much of the time was wasted, or it seemed at least to me, to fill time rather then build the characters or interest.

Brad S (de) wrote: This was a really funny satire taking on a risky subject matter, but the writing and cast pull it off. You can definitely see the influence on Tarantino for his "Inglorious Basterds" film. Jack Benny and Carole Lombard are great in this film directed by Ernst Lubitsch. This is definitely worth watching for classic cinema lovers!
Richard D (us) wrote: This seems to be the most popular of the "Planet of the Apes" sequels. I can't say that it resonates very strongly with me. It's a decent film, but it's light, goofy tone appeals much less to than it's grim, serious successor and even it's patently ridiculous, but fun predecessor. In many ways it's the "Star Trek IV" of this series, so I can see why it appeals to people, but I'm not one of them. The budget is obviously a lot smaller here. The magnificent make-up effects of the first film are replaced by some pretty cheap rubber-mask-looking work here.
Chantal L (br) wrote: I didn't really enjoy this film. The kills were varied but not that interesting and there isn't very much gore. I was turned off by the roller disco scene which lasted way to long. The cinematography was interesting, especially at that part but the band that was playing really didn't do anything for me and was just irritating. There are some interesting performances from E.J Peaker and the campus security guard. The ending did have a good creep factor but I just didn't believe the actors. Especially the strong female lead who doesn't hold her own like you would expect her to, since her character is supposed to be in the navy. Overall, I found this movie fell flat. Only recommended for the hardcore horror fan.
Michael H (nl) wrote: A well made courtroom drama examining issues of fairness, rights, and constitutionality in the pursuit of political ends. This exploration of the trampling of rights and laying aside of the constitution is a fitting bookend in telling the end story of the President who started us down the slippery slope of Executive disregard for the Constitution which has accelerated ever since. (Not that that is addressed in the movie, but it gives the movie extra punch for those who know their history.)
