Ken L (nl) wrote: Really good special effects but poor suit design, fight cinematography was lackluster and I wished they gave steel more the alien voice like the cartoon. Could have been more epic it has potential.

Rohan M (br) wrote: If ever a film needed to be made with a clear and concise message to its primary target market it was this one.The message takes a long time to wind out of this film and several other aspects do not shed a particularly fair reflection on general life in Pakistan. Or at least especially from an outsiders point of view.Much has to be said for the courage and to an extent the audacity of the writer / producers / directors and for that reason it scored highly for me.Be forewarned this is not your usual go happy movie, watch it with an open mind and the intent of thought.its a long movie and there are other tacky parts to it but the key message is vital and so is its interpretation.

Nate T (gb) wrote: Strange and uneven horror - drama to say the least. Two cuts of this film exist on blu-ray: a, "Director's Cut," and, the "American Cut." Of the two, the, "Director's Cut," is in far worse shape in terms of the sound mix and quality of the images. However, it is the one to see if one wants to get the most out of the film. Vincent Price is a pleasure as always.

Andrew R (ru) wrote: I feel this film would have been more enjoyable if it played more on the comedy aspects of the film. Indeed, the most enjoyable scenes featured Jeff, who, despite being a very stereotypical black character, was funny and very likable. Another notable performance comes from Henry Victor who, while not as creepy as Lugosi, Karloff, still pulls off the evil doctor working for (though they weren't allowed to say it at the time) the Nazis. It is not a particularly scary film, but there is still some creepiness to be found, especially from the score, which I discovered was actually nominated for an Oscar.A funny note about this movie is how a character is supposed to be from Ireland, but we only know this from an observation another character made and his occasional references to shamrocks. He even comments that "anybody can tell that I am", when asked if he was we can't.
