The Electro Wars

The Electro Wars

It is unquestionable that the Electro genre has reached a broader American audience in the last two years. I am determined to document the scene and its participants, show the inner workings of the genre and what it will eventually evolve into. The notion to document this genre was conceived in 2008 after reading a blog post with the same title 'Electro Wars' featured on the Hipster Runoff. The post was a sarcastic outlook on electro/house artists in the United States and Europe, and their impact on mainstream music here in the United States.

The Electro Wars are not over... they have only just begun. . You can read more in Google, Youtube, Wiki

Alex C (nl) wrote: Definitely rushed in terms of story pacing but a relatively faithful origin story of Hal Jordan it remains.

Lovro H (de) wrote: This movie is really like no other! The story is good and it is really hillarious! I mean middle-aged men playing Beat-Beat Revolution a dancing game...

Hillary D (fr) wrote: Forlorn violins, failed bootlegging mission & a twisted Carcajou that won't DIE! Film is lacking in so many ways.

Emmy L (gb) wrote: I watched this movie Our Song yesterday which follows the lives of three girls tackling teen life in the project of Crown Heights, Brooklyn. It's not a typical film, it has a documentary-like feel as if Jim McKay (Writer and director) is following people around and recording their lives versus making a movie. Their lives unfold with a natural rythmic ease as the three key characters communicate the dreams, fears and frustration of teenage girls with subtlety, sensitivity and dignity.
