The Entity

Barbara Hershey stars as Carla Moran, a hard-working single mother until the night she is raped in her bedroom by someone - or something - that she cannot see. Despite skeptical psychiatrists, she is repeatedly attacked in her car, in the bath, and in front of her children. Could this be a case of hysteria, a manifestation of childhood sexual trauma, or something even more horrific?

Supposedly based partially on a true story, The Entity tells the story of single mother Carla Moran who begins to doubt her sanity when she is tormented and sexually molested by an invisible demon. . You can read more in Google, Youtube, Wiki

Tatsuhito K (jp) wrote: One of the most creative, unique, and bizarre experimental films I've seen in quite some time. Why did I like this film? Well, I know I should say "no reason", but that's not how reviewing movies works. I liked it because it was darkly funny, I liked it because it's a satire on today's film industry and the fact people can watch the process of filmmaking, and I liked it because it was oddly engrossing despite its ridiculous premise (a tire coming to life and killing people with its psychic power). Rubber is absurd but a very unique piece of work.

Mark N (ru) wrote: What on paper you imagine a pretty harsh movie about kidnap and dolcett behavior would be a shocking exploration of physical and emotional relationships. However when the movie turns out to be a stilted and passionless talker with scant realism you quickly deduce the ending and find it neither titillating nor illumination. Fenn was brave to take on the role that bankrupted Basinger and while at her most beautiful the dream like quality of the dialogue often leaves her sounding as well as looking ridiculous.

Richard I (kr) wrote: Heart on its sleeve, tightly written melodrama that fails to get out of its own way at most times.

Alexander B (jp) wrote: A rather clever thriller with some new twists that you won't expect. If you like action, drama and suspense you'll love this.
