Kelly K (it) wrote: This movie was hilarious at times, but it was an eye-opener that left me shaking my head. I say that because it is sad to see a woman so desperate for love that she would settle for any man. The poor thing. It was eye-opening because being a single woman with no real prospects at the moment, I can relate. The thought of being single forever can be frightening, but only hurt can come from madly chasing a relationship, or marriage like that. It is worth seeing for the lesson.

Suvi L (fr) wrote: Entertaining and silly with relatively good music but it also lacks passion and energy that I was expecting from a music hall film.

Doctor S (ru) wrote: Effective low-key thriller enhanced by short bursts of tensely gripping action. Greatly superior to the limp American remake " The Tourist ", make sure you see this one first to avoid the same anger I relived because the major surprise had already been spoiled. Even worse, that movie only survived by cheating with its characters' behavior, while "Anthony Zimmer" makes more logical sense while planting some shrewd clues. Admittedly that one features a ravishing Angelina Jolie, but an enticingly enigmatic Sophie Marceau doesn't get seated at the table by the kitchen door either.

Joshua C (fr) wrote: A must see for anyone into obscure movies! The animate meat was just trippy!

Ben T (br) wrote: "Over the Hedge" is a fun Dreamwork's flick that has a colorful cast of characters, some terrific voice work, and some good animation.

Chris B (es) wrote: I have literally no idea what the film-makers were thinking when they made this. It looks like a horrible straight to TV knockoff half the time with the CGI looking awful. Both villains aren't memorable and caricatures of what a Bond Villain is supposed to be. The closest of the Bond films to an Austin Powers film.

Mesut K (ag) wrote: fun and totally hillarious XD

Richard H (mx) wrote: This was the very first film I saw in London, 25 years ago at the now defunct Camden Plaza, which was opposite the tube station, a great cinema. At the time this film infuriated me, it was probably also the first Godard film I'd seen... but within the next few years i became very impressed by Godard's films, and looking back this was a real touchstone film for me. Viewing it the other night yet again (pissed on Polish beer) it seemed even more relevant to me.

Kim P (fr) wrote: This movie took a little bit to get started, but a slow first turned into a better second and third act. How have I gone my whole life without realizing George Hamilton had a career before Zorro the Gay Blade?? He put in an amzing performance in this film, and I loved his interactions with George Peppard. Both actors worked really well together.

Ashley H (ru) wrote: Designing Woman is a wonderful film. It is about Mike Hagen and Marilla Brown who marry after a whirlwind romance on the west coast and return to New York to find that they don't have much in common. Lauren Bacall and Gregory Peck give incredible performances. The script is well written and witty. Vicente Minnelli did a great job directing this movie. I enjoyed watching this motion picture because of the comedy and romance. Designing Woman is a must see.

Aj V (nl) wrote: I do give this movie credit for being one of the only sci-fi movies of the thirties, seriously I couldn't find that many, there were about two or three others I found. Anyway. I think H. G. Wells' story of Things To Come was probably much better than this movie. Most of the film is montage of footage of so-called future wars and the progress of mankind, which got really boring after a while. in between that, there are three stories of how war and violence are destroying the world, and the last story doesn't end any different from the other two. It does have good special effects, but other than that it isn't a great movie.

Bob W (br) wrote: Nice all-star cast rendition of the famous best-selling novel which also has the unexpected pleasure of touring some famous sites in Egypt. Ustinov went on to make several more films as Poirot.
