Chad B (nl) wrote: Aside from it being dull and preachy, the script left me scratching my head at some of the completely nonsensical ways in which it took the narrative. The acting is bland, the emotions are forced, and the production values are just plain amateurish to boot.

Jorge T (ag) wrote: Very touching and different (in a good way). Had the pleasure of meeting the director and I honestly hope this movie and its cast get the exposure it deserves.

Jason P (ag) wrote: A bit too far gone for me. But the single shot was outstanding; 5 stars for that.

Jeremiah S (nl) wrote: Awesome ideaExecuted poorly

Trista J (mx) wrote: I recently found this on DVD. It's a fond old memory that brings such good thoughts and I can relate to many parts. While the acting and plot can sometimes be so cheesy it's laughable it's too cute and at the same time, really good to hate it. 5 stars for the good memories and laughs!

Paul J (jp) wrote: Cool dark comedy/who done it. Michael Caine is a awesome actor. Good story.

Richard C (ru) wrote: Without doubt one of Brando's most underrated films, Sayonara never feels boring despite its 147-minute running time and stands as a well-directed, thought-provoking drama featuring impressive performances from not just Brando but also from Red Buttons and Miyoshi Umeki whose Oscar-winning portrayals of the doomed couple help them stand out on their own, despite being in the same company as possibly the greatest actor of the classical Hollywood era.

JamesMasaki R (br) wrote: W.C. Fields doesn't appear until about halfway through, but he absolutely steals the show as a bumbling sheriff which is definitely worth it. George Burns as the somewhat straight-man to Gracie Allen is also fun to watch, but it is a dated comedy film with a story unfulfilled by the end of the movie. But there is the sexual inuendo and also the sex jokes that were fine just before the Hayes code made that all go out for a while....

Heather M (ru) wrote: The special effects are pretty atrocious, but it is a tolerable adventure story.

Dawn T (au) wrote: Blah. Tried too hard to be funny.

Abdikarim S (jp) wrote: Amazing movie, so emotional that it blew me away.
