Justin S (jp) wrote: "Allied" was an awesome movie. It was very intense at many moments. I appreciate the ending not being "cliche" such as the happy ending or a superhero kind of ending. It was appropriate for the storyline. This movie was great. When the credits rolled, I wished there was more. I loved it.

Quinton F (mx) wrote: A little slow at times but overall great acting and a good story behind it.

Gloria P (au) wrote: This movie started out well... but then it just petered out! Emerson is witty and mature in the begining... then turns into an obsessed little kid with little sense.

Mel (de) wrote: i didn't get to see the first 50 minutes... but sounded good. xD well, the rest of the movie is. why shouldn't the first 50 minutes be?

Valerie O (ca) wrote: Possibly the worst movie ever!

Stephanie G (ag) wrote: Some people think this movie is really funny, but I don't get why. It was interesting, but I wouldn't watch it again.

Monique Y (ag) wrote: This movie explores infatuation... of all sorts... from a boy to his aunt, from a husband to his sister in law, from classical music to jazz, from curiosity to knowledge, from childhood into adulthood... and then, in some more ways! Has a slow pace that lets you connect with all the sensual elements available in nature and in the likes of your own soul... delightful!

Mehdi P (es) wrote: Wow... Wow, Is this a movie from Wim Wenders?!!!I loved it, i'll never forget the scenes of Lisbon Story, never.

Evelyn M (ru) wrote: I saw a musical about Leopold and Loeb called Thrill Me. It was pretty good.

Paul D (jp) wrote: Trouble and strife against the backdrop of rodeo 'mechanical' bull riding. Having done it a few times it's a pretty hard skill, weather it's worthy of a feaure film is another thing. This one is endearing but ultimately dated with the relationship breakdowns being the overriding theme.

Scott C (ca) wrote: Great nostalgic feelings come with viewing this.

Bryn C (kr) wrote: A great example of taking a film in constantly unknown directions! It's refreshing to see a film that changes and reforms as it progresses, allowing your imagination to actually take part in the whole experience. Really enjoyed it, but found a lot of the overall production values to be lacking, reducing what could be a much more powerful horror into a small, peculiar cult film.

Tiago C (es) wrote: Western sadistic and eccentric in style Sergio Leone. Chronicles the journey of a gunman who wants to defeat the four masters of the desert. During the narrative, various religious, political and human elements blend together, creating a totally unique and bizarre work. A film with many meanings and symbols that constantly confronts the viewer and the confused. Good movie.

Jon P (br) wrote: Hey, you know what? This movie is awesome. Although the female romanian shot-putters gave me nightmares for two days.

Zack L (ru) wrote: I was shown this movie in my High School Environmental Science class by the smartest man I've ever met. He told me this movie probably wouldn't be interesting to our class due to its lack of explosions. He continued to talk down to us, stating that it will prove to be too high brow for this audience although it is one of his favorites. I wasn't offended by this because I knew he was right. Surely enough, minutes into the film 3/4 fourths of the class falls asleep. I stay wide awake throughout the entire movie waiting, and waiting to figure out what it was that my teacher saw in it. I began to get angry at all the flaws I was recognizing. Now, I don't consider myself to be Gene Siskel, however I know a good movie when I see it. I'm not the average teenager that drools over Transformers, crappy romantic comedies, or cheap horror flicks. So when the movie FINALLY ended, I asked my teacher, What could he have possibly seen in this movie that no one else did?". He explained that he has seen all of Todd Haynes films, and he is a big fan of Julianne Moore. We got into quite an impassioned argument over this movie to the point that he was visibly shocked by my detailed criticism. Still, I was eventually dismissed because I "just didn't understand it". Well I believe I did get it, and more than that I believe this movie is among the most overrated I've ever seen.Safe, starts off gruelingly slow. We see scene, after seen, driving the same points over, and over. I get it, Carol's unhappy, she's sick, people think she's crazy. I didn't need to be shown this for 5 scenes in a row. Subtly is not in this movie's vocabulary. After being subjected to boring, pointless, and forced dialogue every time a character says anything. You can't help but wonder how anyone that isn't a devote masochistic would enjoy this movie. I understand that it's trying to make me feel uneasy, but there has got to be a better way than having all your actors speak in that terrible sudo-monotone whisper. I didn't find a single likeable thing about any of these characters, aside from the husband. I didn't have a dog in this fight. The only reason I found the husband likable is because he seemed just as frustrated as me. Anyway, I could go on for day, but I've got an English project to do so I'll end this review (If you can call it that) with this. If you're a Tarantino fan like me, then you probably won't like this movie. That's all.
