Michael W (br) wrote: Lackluster horror with killer stalking an outspoken female reporter. Several actions can be questioned here, most notably Shatner's insistence on Grant staying put at the hospital where two attempts have been made on her life. A low-point for Shatner, who is completely wasted, relegated to scenes of consoling Lee Grant. Box cover more memorable than film.

Nonetheless, it is very entertaining and has a good share of laughs within it.Additionally, the poster for the movie is very misleading, and so is its inclusion in a particular DVD set called "50 Horror Movie Classics." It is still an enjoyable view, though.

The storyline for this picture is magnificent and reminded me of A Long Hot Summer. The characters are very dynamic and the story unfolds perfectly. The acting is perfect and the cast includes Paul Newman, Joanne Woodward, Patrick O'Neal, Myrna Loy, Leon Ames, and Barbara Eden."Why don't you leave before I pull you out of that cab and bust your nose for you?"I grabbed this movie off Netflix because it stars one of my all time favorites, Paul Newman. The main character was perfect for his demeanor and the script was very well written. The dynamic between Woodward and Newman was perfect and the overall execution of the film was better than I anticipated.
