Calvin C (mx) wrote: This story would have worked better on a stage, but in a movie setting, its too over dramatic in many scenes. However, Richard Burton and Peter Firth give great performances and that's why the movie works. Grade: B
Miles R (gb) wrote: Curiosity regarding memories of seeing posters for this when it came out back in the early 70's when I was just 13 made me watch this even though I knew what it would be like just by the cast and premise. To say it is a dud of the first order is an understatement. It is somewhat surprising to find Val Guest's name as director, because even though he is not in the top echelons of his profession, his films were never as smutty and childish as this. The humour is of the sixth form schoolboy type and it is also surprising to see names like Rosalie Crutchley and Geoffrey Bayldon participating. It's all tiresomely juvenile without any redeeming qualities and my curiosity satiated I can now replace the curiosity of a young boy into one of the many (although a lot lesser) disappointments one experiences as an older man.

Kristina G (us) wrote: Don't get the movie 'Inkubus' from the Red Box... well, actually do get it.... it is the absolute worst movie I have ever seen in my entire life. I feel so bad for Robert Englund for plugging this movie at Screamfest with Joey Fatone... the movie is like a film student project that their final grade was a C or a D.... it is horrifying how bad this film is. This is like if Ed Wood did a horror movie now-a-days. I really want to punch everyone in the world who found this movie to be compelling and awesome... I really feel like I need to do the world some service and tell everyone how bad this movie is. Seriously... it is holy crap oh my God bad.... oh and William Forsythe is in it too... this was like a bunch of dorks from a horror movie convention got together to make a film over the weekend and were able to recruit some of the dudes who were signing autographs... I just need you to know how horrifyingly bad this movie is. Watch it for a super good and hearty laugh, and then help me hunt down the directors and writers of the film so I can punch them in the colons.
