Lee M (ca) wrote: In the hands of British writer/director Andrea Arnold, one of the most talented women making movies today, the film has a lusty primal quality that is threatening and hard to resist. If only it wasn't so long.

Mlissa A (au) wrote: La fin est un peu "pitch", mais l'esprit/l'univers du film est magique. J'adore les dialogues. Bravo Fred Pellerin.

Ryan S (es) wrote: This is really one of the worst movies I've ever seen. It's ludicrous to have someone say "didn't we all agree before that if the apocalypse happened this would be the best place to ride it out?" None of the characters in this film conveyed the weight of the situation, it was like watching Real World on MTV with fake radio reports of the end of the world. Don't waste your time this movie is wretched.

Kim M (au) wrote: Audience was laughing at it. Poorly edited mess. No story. Lots of gay sex and violence. If that's your thing, enjoy.

Douglas V (nl) wrote: The oldies movies were better ...

Omar S (es) wrote: A very crappy movie.. hated it the ending was terrible and the cast was awful

Jeane H (br) wrote: One of my favorites. I love all the inside jokes and actors and directors parading through as various strange and enigmatic characters. I doesn't hurt that both Michelle Pfeiffer and Jeff Goldblum are excessively watchable.

Penny T (de) wrote: Excellent remake of what might otherwise be a trite familiar story. Mr. Sorbo gives a strong performance. ;-)

Tom G (fr) wrote: One of the most fascinating films I've seen focusing on a historical figure. Philip Baker Hall is absolutely fantastic here. His performance is amazing. The whole movie rests on his shoulders and he carries it along perfectly. I would have loved to see the play that this was based on.

Michael W (mx) wrote: A relationship triangle involving a man, woman and a bisexual man. Not the film I was expecting based on the title. Well made and nominated for four Academy awards but never hooked my full interest. Thankfully an intelligent film that avoids bad stereotypes and intersting to see how things have changed from 40 years ago--I doubt the Doctor would conceal his homosexuality today.

Marc D (us) wrote: clever art work of the cross and swastika an allusion to the cloud of shame that hangs over the vatican re the holocaust , a brilliant film by costa gavras

Steven V (ca) wrote: What an inspiring movie! A must watch for everyone who loves boarding, biking or skating in every capacity.

Kyle B (ag) wrote: It's a very David Lynchian stylistic surrealist film with lots of long takes on strange objects or setting and loud, long blank noises like in Eraserhead and odd ball characters that may pop up only for a little bit. Gregg Turkington gives an excellent performance as this traveling stand up comedian with a very odd look to him and based on one of his own recurring characters that has appeared in many of Turkington's real life projects. Tye Sheridan is excellent as always and steals the show as a young performer on the road. John C. Reilly is great as always and Michael Cera has an odd appearance but makes the most of it. It's really an interesting fever dream of a movie like David Lynch's best work so if you are into David Lynch you'll be into this.
