The Four Assassins
Set at the time of Italian explorer Marco Polo's historic expedition to China ,during the reign of Monogol ruler Kublai Khan, it stars American actor Richard Harrison as Polo. There were so many direction she could have gone with this movie and issue of "identity crisis" brought about by this discovery, and she chose a path of love and understanding, guided by compassion, as the two families, and the two boys, try to sort out this new situation, and mothers embrace new and old sons...

The campy/horror/vampire filled third act, which is fun don't get me wrong, just isn't worthy of the very rich set up. In other words, the first two acts of the film are just too good for the campy B movie horror that was the main intent of From Dusk Till Dawn. With that in mind, I will still recommend the film... but if you're going into it without any knowledge of its intent or the supernatural twist, you will definitely feel robbed of the film that could have been.

I loved this and thought it was well done despite that it was sometimes too overwrought = soap opera. Still, why it is scored so low here on the Tomato is anyone's guess.
