Valeria P (us) wrote: This movie is just meh. You would've thought that a dramatic near-death experience would have packed more punch, but no. O e of my least favorite Clint Eastwood movies.

Mark W (gb) wrote: Besides from a few moments in the film that resonate the predecessors tense atmosphere, the sequel delivered a mediocre follow up that sent the franchise in completely the wrong direction! Using demonic possession as an explanation for the unknown virus, well it ruined things a hell of a lot! Instead of a new type of infection film we get ourselves another Exorcist clone!

Lovro H (ag) wrote: A very good British film filled with humor! This movie has a great cast and I'm sure that anyone who understands british humor and likes comedy's will enjoy this movie more than average.

Matthew P (ca) wrote: An indie drama elevated by some fine performances.

Chris H (ru) wrote: Didn't get my buy in at all. Obvious plot and none of the charm of say 'Lock Stock'...Clumsy direction.

Victor B (ag) wrote: I thought it was less annoying that the first one, still it can't help being horrible.

Joel S (mx) wrote: I can't lie about my affection for Scorsese, nor can I fairly assess this trilogy of films without having "The Departed" in the back of my mind. Having seen how effectively Scorsese and company mashed together the content of these three films, this sequel seems so superfluous to begin with. Like the first, it's well-acted, well-paced, well-shot, and all together well-delivered, but there is nothing to push it over the top, and the story leaves some things to be desired. There's also that nagging desire on the part of the filmmakers to embellish the drama to a detrimental extent. Overall, a well executed film that lacks personality.

EvaLena I (fr) wrote: This was really good and things happened all the time. It starts with a man coming to a womans diner and he tells her that the three man taking the breakfast in her diner is chasing him and are going to kill him if they find him. He has something they wants. After the guestes have left she tells him go away and when he does he falls and she have to help him even if she don`t want too. She takes him to a motel that she also runs. The three mens also take a room at the motel. After this a lot more happens. The woman she is really a good fighter. Like this thriller it was an exciting film and you never could stop watching it when you had started.

Frank M (de) wrote: Woods was excellent. not the best courtroom movie, but it's still good.

Mark K (gb) wrote: Coppola's tribute to Preston Tucker, inventor and loose cannon, is an enjoyable biopic with some messages relevant even today. While the story takes the most optimistic view of the emergence of the Tucker automobile, it's appropriate, since Tucker himself was one of those irrepressible optimists. Jeff Bridges is fascinating as Tucker, and you can't help catch the fever and root for him, and his car. There's a number of good acting turns in this film, including a bizarre appearance by Dean Stockwell as Howard Hughes. Coppola nicely reproduces the atmosphere and media frenzy of the time, as well as an interesting courtroom scene. The film clips right along, and you get an interesting view of the power of the established US car companies (how far they've fallen since then!) after the Second World War. Some liberties were taken with the historicity to fit the screenplay, but overall, it captures the essence of who Tucker was, and what his cause faced. The film wasn't a commercial success, but it's worth your time because of the interesting subject matter, and a great 'underdog' story. Recommended.
