Larry Y (ca) wrote: Incredible. As good as, if not better than, FRIENDS OF EDDIE COYLE (which is one of my all-time faves)

Estrella G (ru) wrote: I love watching foreign movies...this particular movie shows a mother who is very over protective over her son to the point of ridiculousness. The movie was slow moving in my opinion but the end had a payoff that you are not going to expect.

Tami M (mx) wrote: Very good movie with a lot of action!

Massimo F (fr) wrote: Che delusione. Film orrendo. Mesi di attesa per il nuovo film di Soi Cheang, per trovarmi di fronte un brodo di cagate.

Noble D (mx) wrote: what started as a humorous concept just got dumber as the movie progressed. obviously you don't expect much rationality from someone who thinks they need to sleep around before they get married, but doesn't want to actually end the relationship, but the total lack of rational activity by both characters was almost not human. not to mention to movie just dragged on and on, would have made for a better 30 minute sitcom piece.

Adam L (nl) wrote: Adapted from a Lillian Lee novel by the same name, a Tang era general (Wu Hsing Guo making his feature film debut) renounces war and the woman he loves (Sino-Hollywood actress Joan Chen) after fleeing to a monastery where he accepts Buddhist dogma and begins to confront the soul simmering inside him. Boring has never been so beautiful looking and love making never so listless. Lee shares screenwriting credit with Eddie Fong whose wife Clara Law directs.

Shaun S (ag) wrote: When I first saw Victoria Vetri in this I thought that is the kind of woman I'd like to meet. I was only eleven at the time and sad to say I am still looking. You can learn a lot from films like this. The word "Akita" or "AKeeta" can be applied to any context. I also learned that stretching out your arms in a hypnotic gesture does not send a raging tsunami rolling back to the depths of the ocean.

Charles P (us) wrote: To witness this young priest's spiritual journey is as much a spiritual journey for the viewer through Director Bresson's matchless talent in conveying his priest's inner turmoil of faith and doctrine effortlessly to the screen.

Nicki M (it) wrote: Good thriller with plenty of twists. Enjoyed this.

Ann F (fr) wrote: This movie has plot holes so big you could drive trucks through them! What a stinket!

Hayden H (ca) wrote: A tense and mostly clever suspense thriller that stay with you even when the credits stop rolling. I honestly was speechless from this movie and have no idea how to describe this to it's full brilliance unless I spoil some of it for you but believe it's worth checking out and going through the slow build that pace goes. And man that ending! Boy was I she'll shocked by the end of this film. Geez..."B-"
