et the word out!. This is not just a 'must see', it is a 'must share'. Every citizen of this country needs to see this and discover exactly what system they and their families are subject to, and empower themselves to look beyond what is commonly accepted as 'health' care. This movie shares a message whose time is long overdue to be told

the ending wasn't good but it was slightly entertaining. The film was filled with creepy moments and an outrageous plot

Bruce's previous Hong Kong films are better demonstrations of his martial arts skills, but this film features an overall better production value and slickness his previous films lacked. The film also earns at least 1/2 a star for the terrific and iconic Lalo Schifrin music. Han. Also, Keye Luke did uncredited dubbing for Dr. Jackie Chan is apparently one of the prison thugs who fights Bruce, although I couldn't spot him. " Look for a young Sammo Hung as the Shaolin fighter Bruce has a demonstration match with in the opening. Jim Kelly however is quite good in role, which led to his underrated film "Black Belt Jones. John Saxon always seemed like odd casting as one of the three main leads and is passable, even if his martial arts was not. Bruce is just awesome and that's what carries the film. And Bruce striding through the crowd to get to Han at the end. Bruce taking out a tunnel full of henchmen. An honest assessment of this film is that it's pretty dated and actually pretty corny when viewed through modern sensibilities, but despite that, Bruce Lee is amazing! Bruce with the nunchuks. The story is super basic (the evil Han is hosting a martial arts tournament and Bruce is sent in by a spy agency to stop Han's evil doings) but the story perfectly facilitates lots of kung-fu action. That aside and some goofy mugging by Bruce Lee, this film is an absolute martial arts classic. "). " or "These are lost drunken men who don't know where they are, but do care! And these are men who know where they are and care, but don't drink. We need total concentwation. Bruce Lee is the man, but I do have to say that the Zucker/Abrahams/Zucker "A Fistful of Yen" segment in "The Kentucky Fried Movie" has completely ruined me from being able to take this film seriously ("What was that? This is not a chawade

Spooky and fascinating. They silently observe, supply props, rearrange sets and even assist in the climactic act of violence, but are never acknowledged by the main players. The main set has oversized characters painted all over the floor (a purely stylistic move) and, more importantly, a variety of black-hooded figures lurk around the frame, serving as onscreen stagehands. In typical New Wave fashion, "Doubie Suicide" continually reminds us of the film's false reality. Also interesting is how Shinoda stages the action. It's an interesting angle to emphasize, given a culture where women were strictly secondary. Koharu doesn't want Osan saddled with a husband's suicide, and Osan worries about Koharu's potential misery with the unwanted rival suitor. The story's pull is not so much about foolish Jihei, but about the unlikely empathy between Osan and Koharu. Will this conflict resolve happily? Re-read the film's title. Meanwhile, Osan and her family naturally resent Jihei's infidelity. Jihei hopes to buy Koharu's freedom but can't afford the price, and a wealthy cretin may buy her first. )Koharu loves Jihei too and, against all odds, the two actually have a monogamous relationship (Jihei no longer sleeps with Osan, and Koharu refuses other clients). (Remarkably, the same actress portrays both Osan and Koharu -- between Osan's blackened teeth and Koharu's thick geisha makeup, this detail is easy to miss. He has two young children with wife Osan but unfortunately has fallen in love with Koharu, a local courtesan. Jihei is the struggling owner of a paper shop. The plot is initially simple but soon turns trickier. The story was originally written for a form of Japanese puppet theater called "bunraku," hence the opening credits roll over footage of such puppets being readied for performance. Adapted from an 18th century play, Masahiro Shinoda's "Double Suicide" is a classic tragedy

& I am actually in the process of looking for the soundtrack, Kitty's songs were quite amusingly catchy. This movie was not only a good sexsploitation film, but it also had pretty awesome cinematography given the budget & so on

The movie started off interesting with some funny dialogue, an interesting romance and a sweet Hedy Lamarr, but I lost interest about half way and the ending was not that great

I have to say, I generally really like black and white films, but in this case, it was odd to see the trailer in black and white and I think I actually prefer the colour here. I did notice at times that the film looked very blocky, but put it down to a bad transfer. One interesting thing is that it seems that it was originally black and white, but for whatever reason, the Dvd release (in Australia, anyhow), is in colour. The two leads are so good that it never comes across as dull and the Vivian character is originally so horrible that it is a credit to them that everyone doesn't just switch off. This reminded me a lot of Before Sunrise as most of it is just two people walking around getting to know each other and revealing things about their lives. I actually would have scored it a little higher if the ending had been different, but then again, can't fault something for being true to life. I wasn't expecting much of it at all, small film with no one I've ever heard of in it, but it really exceeded my expectations. This was really a great little movie

The final scene with him and Peg will have you blubbing like an idiot. Brilliant, if dated but Cagney is pitch-perfect in this and runs a gamut of emotions
