Robert R (mx) wrote: Very cool premise that quickly devolves into a really really bad made-for-tv detective show.Poor Derek Jacobi - I hope at least he made tons of 's off this stinker.

Adam M (us) wrote: Joanna Hogg's dole-drum blah movie style gets old fast. It's a guessing game trying to figure out the point of the film and WTF is going on!

James E R (ag) wrote: This film see's this pair on the run from the Law.Food film similar to 48 Hour's and Rush Hour.

Justin G (gb) wrote: The most inept killer of all time.

Jenna I (es) wrote: Goddamn, what a movie. It goes from a simple love triangle to a gradually and genuinely terrifying movie in an hour and a half. What's genius about it, and what makes most Coen Brothers movies so genius, is the sheer weight of pointlessness as a motivation- everybody's dying horrifically, or being scarred for life, and its just because of a series of misunderstandings and mistakes. It -was- simple, it -could- have been simple, but instead it becomes this nightmare of details that could have gone any which way but instead everything lined up for the jackpot of death. Loved the last scene as well, what a last sight to see just before you die to really drive in how pointless your life was and everything was.

Jack G (us) wrote: One of a handful of films I could picture Donald Westlake feeling jealous he didn't write.

Katie R (ca) wrote: Lombard gives a great dramatic performance, but Kay Francis kicks this film's ass.

Kinho M (ru) wrote: Not Guy Ritchie's best. If you want a very good and solid Ritchie film, pick up Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels or Snatch. Right off the bat, this movie is boring. The pace is chaotic but that pace actually gets in the way of the actual story. The characters are all not interesting. Not recommended.

Kurt F (mx) wrote: 4/29/16 I thought it was ok. I fell asleep through parts of it, so I think I had a hard time figuring out exactly what was going on. Not a whole lot to say.

Maureen B (kr) wrote: I had high expections of The Hunter. This didn't play out as I expected and overall I was disappointed. Could see touches of Melville in cinematography; it was lovely to look at. No strong narrative so seemed more style over content.

Thomas A (ru) wrote: A tale of morality on drone warfare that serves as a caution to most governments these days that the "sit-back-and-relax" style of warfare might not be in the best interests of everyone. The thrill in this film was superbly played out by excellent actors like Alan Rickman (sadly, this was his last film before he left us all) and Helen Mirren.
