Nitina P (es) wrote: Haider - a masterpiece! A tragedy of vengeance, 'standing ovation' performances by the leading star cast. Shahid and Tabu, you were the icing on the cake. Speechless!.. Watching a movie after ages tat really left me feeling awed!... The song *jhelum* creates a lasting eerie-Ness..to the gorgeous backdrop of snow and wound clad kashmir. Beautiful watch. My night is done. Wow.

Alexander G (us) wrote: This film is in the tradition of Wayan's horror movie spoof movies. And I loved it. I laughed out loud throughout most of the movie. It was silly, sometimes disgusting, but really hilarious.

Chris B (fr) wrote: JCVD is a very unique film and one that unfolds rather unconventionally and takes a look at Jean-Claude Van Damme as a man, not just an action hero and film star. While the film can be hit-or-miss and peculiar at times, Jean-Claude delivers a heartfelt performance as himself of course. To me the film was a little strange with regard to its style and narrative structure but no matter your opinion of the film, you can't say it's unoriginal. What starts out as a documentary-style look at the star's life slowly but surely becomes into an offbeat thriller film involving a group of men who take Jean-Claude and others in a bank hostage in order to make demands. While it has a very unique and off-kilter style, I found it a bit too self-indulgent with a lot of gimmicky dialogue throughout the film. If you are looking for something different then check out Jean-Claude's performance in JCVD, it's certainly a new side of the actor's repertoire and a solid performance despite the film's shortcomings.

Rhady N (kr) wrote: This is the kind of moviemaking and atmosphere are not often available out there, a thrilling ride that reminds me of some of my favorite films, such as "The Taste of Tea". Highly praised and recommended!

Justina L (ru) wrote: Across the different continents, different cultures, languages and ethnical. Directors have used music to chain them together and major topics were discussed. Love the music and the effort to put the puzzle together! Great job!

David B (mx) wrote: Now I hate to admit it but this is my favourite sequel, the old favourite characters are still here but some are gone but they've never been better since the first original movie. They each steal the screen and lap it up. The action scenes are dull and very redundant but the jokes are slightly (If just a little bit) better. It's very childish and at times a little embarrassing from some actors but it strangely works. The script might be weak but it feels like the actors improvise and are better without the storyline. It's Michael Winslow that again gets the best scenes and probably his best in the series. Weak storyline but impressive gags.

Karsh D (kr) wrote: In truth there are better biopics about, although a lot of artistic licence is involved here. A good British cast and good subject matter keeps the interest levels up.

James H (kr) wrote: John Ford westerns are always good, but have always felt they are overrated. This is a good story, but I didn't see any "wow" factor in the western. It's just a notch above ordinary. Ford does develop his characters well though, and it is professionally done. John Wayne's wooden acting doesn't help.

Paul D (jp) wrote: The gore and make-up are pretty good, but everything else is below average.

Armando B (fr) wrote: I don't understand some people that are giving bad reviews to this movie. This is one of the best movies that I have seen, great action, and very well made. Even though the camera shots sometimes makes you dizzy, but still it was a good movie. Great performances by Gyllenhaal and pea. This is one of the best cop movies that I have seen since " Training Day " close enough. So for this being one of my favorite movies of all time, and delivers the best in the main actors, I give " End Of Watch " a A-.

Steve S (ru) wrote: It was fine but not great. The movie was a little superficial in its plot. I wish they had better explained where they came from and who was in the house at the end. The main kid did a good job but some of the writing wasn't the best. Dana seemed to like it more because she has read the book. Therefore, I assume it is better for those who have read the book.
