Nick A (de) wrote: Strong movie in its own way. Nice to have a look into the life of a hardened marine woman, adding a bit complexity to her story and experiences, and seeing how that works out in the countryside, where rednecks run the joint.

Lindsey S (us) wrote: This film captures the tone of the book perfectly. Not great or innovative by any means, but still better than Insurgent.

Danielle G (fr) wrote: I enjoyed this more than I thought that I would. I expected much more cheesiness, the kind that comes with the straight to DVD medieval movies I'm used to in order to get my castle and knight fix, but this is played in all seriousness and done quite well. It isn't epic in the sense of Robin Hood or Kingdom of Heaven is, but its small rag tag team of knights, barons and fighters keeps it entertaining amidst all the gore, grit and fighting. If you like medieval movies then most certainly check this one out. If you're a history purist or looking for more epic adventure, then look elsewhere.

Kyle M (au) wrote: Visually creative, cleverly worded and nicely performed from the appealing cast that brought in the heart and comic, while it also addresses connective life points. Although comparing to its preceding project "Ice Age", it seems the taste gotten toned down and kept constant throughout most of the studio's projects with occasional ups and rare greatness. Alex A (au) wrote: Donnie Brasco boasts strong performances from its lead duo Johnny Depp and Al Pacino. The story is your basic run-of-the-mill undercover cop tale about getting too deep into an infiltrated world, causing one to slowly forget they're undercover, which has been done before. Though Johnny Depp delivers a great performance, the movie sadly didn't give me any reason to care for his character. Overall, Donnie Brasco is a gritty gangster flick with strong, convincing performances, smooth pacing and good characters, but an unoriginal story, an unrelatable main character and seemingly no climax.

Hamidah H (ru) wrote: for the whole thing,it was boring, tho some parts were funny, roberto acted funny all the time, just that the movie was too weird,weird..the storys funny, but cant keep up with the atmosphere, and some time you just don't get it at all,like,..its funny, but why he have to do that in that way?...its like no reasonsince im robertos big fan i still happy that i got his dvd when i hv time ill watch it againoh..and i wonder why MGM just don't have it on the tv,they hv all of the series just dont hv this one D:

Claudette A (ru) wrote: I enjoyed this movie at the time. Garcia plays a stronger role than Gere.

Dave S (mx) wrote: I need to stop with the 1960s sex comedies for a while. They're starting to feel less like movies and more like an ethics exam. Bonus points for the absurd cop-out ending, though.

Bill T (kr) wrote: Movie with a lot of interesting ideas that has a writer accepting a dare to spend a night in his haunted castle. It's inhabited by a bunch of ghosts/zombies/vampires that need blood to survive! During this, we get back stories on the ghosts, and how they turned out that way. Interesting, but too talky and leaves a lot of unanswered questions.

Evan H (de) wrote: This movie is paradise! I saw it at Cinecenta and was mesmerized by it's beauty! Didn't care in the end that it was three hours long because it draws you in and makes you feel apart of the movie. It has a realistic feel to it due to the fabulous acting and script. The direction was superb so it wasn't too stagy. It was very consistent and stayed on task and delivered sheer entertainment throughout! It's a really touching French movie that made me fall in love with it!

Jess L (nl) wrote: I love this actor/actress combination and will watch anything with Tracy and Hepburn in it. This was so enjoyable to watch. The comedy, the romance; the scene where she is trying to make him breakfast is hilarious. Definitely a favourite film.

John A (nl) wrote: This series of films is all about the privilege of watching Myrna Loy and William Powell offer wit and a happily married chemistry as some nefarious plot unfolds before them. The detective angle drives the plot, and Jimmy Stewart definitely raises the level of the cast in this, the second installment of the series. The fact that I am not sure whether I prefer the first or the second says a great deal about the success of this one. Fun film.

Tatsuhito K (es) wrote: When will Vanessa Hudgens stop playing the same old, troubled, drug-addict hooker type of character?? You've done enough of that, Vanessa. Try something else. Nicolas Cage gives his most solid performance in quite a long time, but unfortunately it's squandered by the film's by-the-numbers narrative and the lack of any emotional heft. The Frozen Ground is efficient and atmospheric, but also very mediocre and hollow.
