Victoria N (jp) wrote: This movie was full of hot chicks, explosions and a non-sensible plot (at least if you're not paying 100% attention). I enjoyed this movie a lot anyway. Great CGI!!!

Brad S (es) wrote: A powerful film that finally put the 2 Bergmans together(Ingmar and Ingrid) to create a thought provoking examination of a complicated mother/daughter relationship. Bergman plays a mother visiting her daughter for the first time in years, and Liv Ullman as the daughter slowly reveals some of the wounds she has been harboring over the years, until they finally both confront their past in a devastating fashion. The writing is top-notch, as is the acting, particularly by Bergman who was nominated for an Oscar, and should have one in my opinion. Highly recommended.

Brad S (mx) wrote: I get that the '60s were a different time, but there's little redeeming Antonioni cramming fifteen minutes of story into 110 minutes of desert sex and explosions. Maybe he just needed the extra time to play all the sweet music he collected.

Stuart K (it) wrote: The 17th Carry On film, and this one is famous for one or two things that stand out. It's also a bit of a time piece of how the British used to spend their holidays back in the 60's, and even the Carry On team make a dull British holiday look like a lot of fun!! It has plumbers/friends Sid Boggle (Sid James) and Bernie Lugg (Bernard Bresslaw), wanting to take their prudish girlfriends Joan Fussey (Joan Sims) and Anthea Meeks (Dilys Laye) to a nudist camp site, something they do not want to do. But, they end up at a bog standard camp site with the same name. Also on the site are the girls of a posh finishing school led by Dr. Soaper (Kenneth Williams) who has to deal with the girls behaviour, especially that of Babs (Barbara Windsor). Then there's timid husband Peter Potter (Terry Scott), and his domineering wife Harriet (Betty Marsden), who end up having first time camper Charlie Muggins (Charles Hawtrey) bunking up with them. This is the one where Barbara Windsor's bra comes flying off whilst doing her morning exercises. But, there's still alot of fun to be found in this one, such as Sid James dressing up as a hippie, and Hattie Jacques as the lovelorn matron Miss Haggard, who fancies Dr. Soaper, much to his chagrin. It's still very funny, and the double-entendre's are first class!!
