Robin T (es) wrote: I wish this movie provided more information about this world. I was both intrigued and disturbed about this practice of taking a very young child away from his family to live in a monastery. Do any of these children ever rebel? Beautiful scenery that lends itself to the mystical subject matter. Now I'm ready for the behind the scenes version.

Sandra A (gb) wrote: Sweet and moving drama about a true story.Great cast and beautiful locations.

Mish R (jp) wrote: Interesting idea but not much else there. I am not Christian so I found it difficult to follow along.

Chris D (ru) wrote: Strange but very enjoyable comedy using Chinese film stars in a Korean location. Nothing special about this film but somehow leaves you with a smile. Action is not in the Jackie Chan, Jet Li class and reminds me of Stephen Chows material, but thee are some good chases and an easy story with a good twist at the end. Something for a wet evening and want an undemanding film with the always excellent Tony Leung and the beautiful Shu Qi. Also worth noting that this is a follow on from Tokyo Raiders some five years earlier, something which is now on order :)

Allan S (ca) wrote: Jaw dropping cinematography and an interesting story following real present day warriors. As a piece of film its not in any means fantastic but its a nice alternative.

Abdullah A (it) wrote: I don't really want to break down this film into its specifics, cuz it's such a beautiful story and it really hit me and got me down to tears when I was young, and I think that's what you need to know. The film really captures the quirks and character of Hachiko, and takes you through his whole life, and it's so beautiful and emotional, I don't think you can get through this one without at least shedding a few tears, and for that, I think this film gets a full on 5 stars, even though it's not a perfect film if you'd go into the specifics.

Bill B (mx) wrote: A film that had been on the Netfux Queue forever that finally turned up in the mailbox, this wasn't anything I was really dying to watch, but I figured that it was time, right? This tells the story of suspicions that arise when a teenaged girl is killed in a small neighborhood where some old buddies are brought back together by the tragedy. It's a decent little watch, thoguh I don't know exactly what might inspire me to revisit it in the future, so I'm pleased to have only rented it.Solid rental.
