Michael M (mx) wrote: Another movie I think is criminally underrated. Ahnuld was still a badass in 1999 and this movie really tuned in on the dread regarding Y2K and the talk of the "end of days." There are also a few classic Ahnuld lines and some great violence. Add in Gabriel Bryne as the devil and you've got yourself a fine movie my friends. Another movie to go back and check out if you catch it on Uverse.

When Sarah tells him that 'are you gonna hit me,too'(I can't remember the line exactly), I felt real heartbroken. And once you see the last scene, you will never forget Peter Mullan's eyes...and you can directly feel his frustration and every feeling. astonishing performance, needless to say brilliant directing

Jenny D (es) wrote: If whimsical post-war comedy is your thing then this is one of the best of them. A lovely performance from Margret Rutherford is an added bonus to this fine Ealing Comedy about a bunch of enterprising Londoners who suddenly find some burried treasure and evidence of the fact that their street in Pimlico was once gifted to the Duch of Burgundy. Watch this one, KIND HEARTS & CORONETS and the LAVENDER HILL MOB for a real fest of Ealing.

jay x (ag) wrote: was really bored with this one didn't watch till the endnormally i like the performances of Rhys Coiro and Milo Ventimigla but even that couldn't keep me interested in the movie, they made the first 20min of the movie watchable by being the great actors that they are but after that even that can't keep you attention great performances from the guys the rest to me was pretty bleh

Guido S (it) wrote: Really wanted to like this one. Basically a ranch owner is murdered and the crew go out to get revenge on his killer. This movie has not aged very well. The acting in parts is a bit wooden, the deaths are extremely corny, and it just seems a bit off for a western. It is nice to see all the guys in a younger role working together, but this is a case where the sum does not equal its parts. Thought Warren G did take a great line from the move and made it a hot song.
