Mutlu S (gb) wrote: This is a beautiful movie. The beautiful cinematography makes you wish to visit Korea and the musics makes you want to know more about Korean music and culture. But these are all the decorations of this great movie. The story of people and the love of them is so pure. They preserve their love when they are apart and keep their love unchanged while the world changes. This is a love story begins from childhood the very end and the name of the film suit it perfectly.
Marti G (fr) wrote: This is a hard film to watch, but it is an important film to watch. It's a documentary about military folks who served in the Iraqi War from their recruitment, to training, to serving (and killing), and coming home with both psychic and physical wounds. It is them, their voices, their pain, their forever changed lives. One likens recruitment to marketing of cigarettes: it used to be cool (Marlboro Man billboards) and now comes with a surgeon general's warning. The surgeon general doesn't warn anyone about how cool it is to become a Marine. Another talks about his field chaplain: The human body can live 72 hours without water, two weeks without food, and no time at all without hope.

John W (ag) wrote: Sydney Pollack's visually breathtaking recreation of early twentieth century Nairobi is enhanced by a sublime performance by Meryl Streep and the typically welcome presence of Robert Redford. The cinematography is ravishing. The film loses points for its unfocused screenplay and sluggish pacing.
Mike C (es) wrote: A good action drama and Yaphet Kotto gives a great performance as President Idi Amin Dada in this film version of a real life international incident.

In 1982 I'm sure this was a great film, but in 2015 it's very averageI'm not even sure what it is all about??!! Or what the point is?! Sly shows that he can act, but that's about all that's here
