Marshall, Texas, described by James Farmer, Jr. as "the last city to surrender after the Civil War," is home to Wiley College, where, in 1935-36, inspired by the Harlem Renaissance and his clandestine work as a union organizer, Professor Melvin Tolson coaches the debate team to a nearly-undefeated season that sees the first debate between U.S. students from white and Negro colleges and ends with an invitation to face Harvard University's national champions. The team of four, which includes a female student and a very young James Farmer, is tested in a crucible heated by Jim Crow, sexism, a lynch mob, an arrest and near riot, a love affair, jealousy, and a national radio audience. . Candice E (ca) wrote: The film fails to educate those outside of Russia the connection between church and state and the feminist plight. Viewers see female police officers, lawyers and judges, thus it is confusing to understand what feminist agenda pussy riot is advocating. Although the film is slightly sympathetic to pussy riot, they also show documentation of two members sexually assaulting female police officers within a context of a prank, or whimsical performance art. According to pussy riot, they seem to say that so long as their intention is artistic, or within their rights to advocate freedom of speech, it is acceptable to kiss others against their will, storm into a church while people are praying peacefully and tell them that God is shit. Pussy riot has some important things to say, and they do so eloquently regarding the justice system which seemed to penalize them more harshly than necessary.

Andrew L (ag) wrote: A great comic book based film, with a great performance from Perlman. The ending was a little lack-lustre and very 'end-the-movie-quickly-as-we're-coming-up-to-the-2hr-mark'. But other than that it's entertaining and looks good. Out of all the action films and comic based films released over the last few years, the character Hellboy came across more effectively than any of the other hero protagonists as a well rounded individual and personality.

Bruno D (gb) wrote: The Undiscovered Country is the sixth film in the Star Trek original movie series. After the lackluster that is The Final Frontier this movie brings Star Trek back on top with its excellent story telling and great sci fi themes. The story is really great. It revolves around a murder mystery and the way it was handled was done very well. The visuals as well are really excellent as well. The characters are as great as ever and deliver good performances. While this movie is one of the better of the franchise it isn't perfect. It's a great sendoff to the original cast and crew. Overall 4.5/5

When all scenes of this movie make you laugh or feeling weird, you know it will be memorable. And something goes memorable always get the great place for audience. Oh yeah, another cult :)

This forgotten flick has Dan Aykroyd as a nerdy college professor pretending to be a sadistic pimp to protect the interests of a group of "heart of gold" hookers. It's trash, but amusing trash.
