Inta K (au) wrote: nothing special. quite boring and typical movie...

Paul D (mx) wrote: Indulgent critic on power and greed focusing on one individual. It's very wordy and the characters just don't feel real.

Rose F (ca) wrote: Meh, I don't like Steve Carell being all serious. I didn't get anything out of this film.

Melanie D (au) wrote: Definitely moving, definite tear-jerker. I cried. Yeah. It's REAL, and tough, and funny...and beautiful. A really good watch. The acting was tremendous...Tom Cavanaugh -love him, Sally Field -ALWAYS love her (she actually wasn't the main star, though, really. She had some leading parts, of course, but it was more about the children) and Ben Chaplin -now, HE was AMAZING! This should definitely tug at your heart. I really do think this could help those who are currently dealing with an upcoming death or a past one. Watch it!

Dan M (us) wrote: Possible Robin Williams best film! Beautiful and heartbreaking.

Lindsey G (gb) wrote: Perhaps musicians shouldn't watch films about other musicians. I spent most of the time critiquing the actors' fingerings and bow usage and the soundtrack. That being said, splitting the film into two sections to see the same events from two individuals' perspectives was a nice addition to the usual biopic architecture, and Emily Watson was luminous (as she always is), though a seriously sub-par cellist.

Patrick D (jp) wrote: All someone could hope for in a film of this title...and I mean that in the best way possible.

Rob P (nl) wrote: I was curious about this and watched it on netflix. One of Johnny Depps early movies, but just a lame cheesy 80's comedy.
