The Greater Good
The film looks behind the fear, hype and politics that polarize people into emotionally charged pro-vaccine or anti-vaccine camps with no room for middle ground. Verite stories of individuals and their families, whose lives have been forever changed by vaccine choices, interwoven with interviews from leading experts in the field, will re-frame the vaccine debate and offer, for the first time, the opportunity to have a rational, scientific and factual discussion on how to create a more effective vaccine program in America today.

That?s the inherent problem with the annoyingly pious, inherently un-cinematic, and just plain boring ?Diplomacy?. Sure, there?s some immediacy to the proceedings, but not nearly enough fleshing out of complex characters.

(ru) wrote: Half Nelson was a film that I couldn't see myself watching again because its gritty truth and slow pace don't make it all that enjoyable at its surface. However it is a good film, Ryan Gosling was terrific and fully deserved the Oscar nomination and the rest of the cast delivered as well. In terms of the style of the camera work, I understand that it is supposed to make you feel immersed into the film as if you were there but for me, it was distracting from the scenes that I was watching because it was so annoying.

The redeeming factor of the movie is Anne Hathaway. She makes this movie version of the tv show better than the original maybe too good... Barbara Feldon had a certain essence about her which I can only describe as stupidity that seemed perfectly natural whereas Anne is a little too arch in the movie version. Nevertheless, it's always nice to see Anne on the wide screen.

(fr) wrote: Again, bored with abuse of violence in the picture. Alex Man character could be better villain, but it's so simplified and shallow. It's waste of great actor. Alan Tam character, too. Indeed, a movie that does not describe characters well is really boring.

(mx) wrote: Well, I was half way through the book when I decided to watch the movie adaption, so you can tell that I really enjoy this story. The movie is good, Lily and Sam were awesome, and I love how they recreate the plot. It keeps the emotion and add a lot of fun into it. Anyway I'd recommend this to everybody out there!
