Are we living in a world of chaos were we try to find order or is it a world of supersymmetry of a complete ordered nature? Finally as with all things in life, philosphically or grounded in reality, there is always a middle ground were all extrremes come together as is seen with this unbelievable documentary too. Highly recommended to everyone.

This is definitely not a stereotypical story about a drunk. Which I was worried it would be. The cliche would be to say, it pulls no punches, but that isn't what makes it interesting. At times, it does pull its punches, which provides for even more interesting scenes. Great writing, great directing, great acting, and even more important a great ending (a little twist). Great Concept Great Execution

Byron B (es) wrote: Starts off as a funny story about a Catholic school boy who doesn't have any really bad sin to confess and so he feels something will be missing in this step toward coming of age. His friend thinks the robes look like dresses and gently pressures the boy into mild mischief like cutting through a farmer's field with their bikes and taking down the scarecrow. The story surprised me by taking a sudden dark turn. Like a nightmare the boy now deals with some major guilt. Does the priest guess the extent of his sins? I'm not a fan of the religious context. What is really the message of this short film? It was difficult to tell if the act of confession was meant to be portrayed as something that truly saves a soul like a simple band aid over a wound, or if it was trying to point out the faults of this simplistic method of letting individuals off from wrongdoing.

JOE KIDD is a low-key but violent western about a land rights dispute between Hispanics and whites. John Saxon of ENTER THE DRAGON is stirring up controversy about those land rights and he enters the town of Sinola and burns all the legal white land grants and deeds. Luis Chama is about to kidnap the local judge when Joe Kidd steps in and rescues the judge. Kidd is a former bounty hunter who has a small horse outfit and pretty much sticks to himself. Mr. Harlan (Robert Duvall of THE GODFATHER) is a wealthy land baron that arrives in town on a search to find and kill Chama. Since Kidd has been sentenced to 10 days in jail, Harlan pays the fine and bails Kidd out. Once Kidd learns what Harlan has in mind, he turns him down. Later, Chama and his men ride to the Kidd spread and drives off all his horses and barb-wires his hired hand. Suddenly, Kidd changes his mind and decides to escort Harland and his army of gunmen as they set out to catch Chama. The finale has Kidd driving a train through a building.
