(it) wrote: Very good! The ending was excellent and disappointing at the same time! :P
(br) wrote: A very poorly-made documentary, but the story itself is pretty interesting. It's kind of an instructive lesson on how not to deal with people. Honestly I think a more interesting movie could be made on how the heck he got a sequel through production.
(br) wrote: too emotionally manipulative? Its an adapted screenplay for Godsake. Nothing wrong with the movie, its perfect.

(nl) wrote: Classic 70's Bollywood. A newer version of a Devdas-like love story. The film indeed has a strange Sufi feel to it, with Kader Khan as the Sufi saint in the coverstan, Rekha as the thwaif, Amitabh as Sikander, and the film's title as well. Amazing soundtrack with its mix of slow love ballads, disco pop, and mujrah #'s - all compulsary music for that decade. One of Bachchan's best performances to date.
(br) wrote: This was a great movie based on a true story about a family of women affected by breast cancer. Despite the sad and serious subject, there was humor in this and I really enjoyed it being set over the 60's - 80's. Annie was really brace and relatable. I'm surprised the rating on this is relatively low. Okay, it's not exactly a feel good movie to watch over and over, but it really was well done and the cast were all excellent. I liked her sister, and the (dumbass) wannabe rockstar husband was amusing (up until the point he was too much of a douchebag). Helen Hunt doesn't play a huge role, important to the story, but she's not the lead actress here.
