Emma Lee C (us) wrote: Imaginative, creative, unique, & heart-melting, Tom Hiddleston & Tilda Swinton perfected these performances as this century-old vampire couple. Josef Van Wissem perfected the calming, enjoyable music soundtrack that highly suggest everyone to download. The costumes & makeup (including the wigs) are amazing. The story itself leaves you at the edge of your seat in this vampiric drama/thriller. & last but not least, Jim Jarmusch perfected the screenplay & story (in general, the entire film) like a masterpiece. This is definitely one of the greatest romance films & one of the best vampire films, especially those, of course, that involve in a love story. It honestly makes me appreciate life more.
Bruce B (br) wrote: How could this movie be bad, its got Rod Steiger in it, after all he was born in the same town as I and the same Day, just not the same year, thank God. Movie show's how people really think about you no matter what you have gone through. Stereo Type. Its in Black & White and Ole School but a hell of a film. My opion this should be part of the Criterion Collection.
Ross B (mx) wrote: i can only think the director's point was to make us feel we were wasting our time by watching his work. if that was his intent he delivered on it. if he was making something he thought was of value it was a miserable failure. i saw it at TIFF and he was there but unfortunatley i did not have the guts to say this to him personally. i wish i had.

Darrin C (au) wrote: Not bad. Cursed Zombies (not Virus Zombies) who are Nazis! Pretty original except it takes about half way through the movie to even get things cooking.

Andy C (br) wrote: Very odd, a fantasy movie that feels a lot like Sci-fi in a number of parts. Weird in so many ways with tons of odd scenes but filled with a ton of charm.
Little B (jp) wrote: More psychological than erotic, maybe seeing it today you lose a bit of the original strength while remaining a great movie. The photography and dialogues are beautiful, the end and the beginning are connected by theprotagonist's morbid imagination. Very good.
