Jeff N (br) wrote: While I love the cast and premise, it isn't a very well written story. The dialogue was really good at times, but structurally, the story buckled under its own weight.

Tracy T (fr) wrote: I recently had the opportunity to see a movie premier online. I must say that the experience really was, well very nice. The movie itself was very good. Not one that I would normally go to, I tend to go to movies for escapism like Avengers and Battleship. But this movie proved me wrong. The subject matter is one that hits quite close to home, thankfully not exactly but close enough. The dad, Joe played by Chazz Palminteri is a buisness owner who moves his family down south to New Orleans. The rest of the family Stella, Andie MacDowell, the mom and the daughters Natalie, Jodelle Ferland, and Maddie, Rainey Qualley are along for the ride. But things are not going so well, and Joe's old anger management problems surface again.

Amy H (es) wrote: I think this movie is great if you have read the book also.

D M (us) wrote: A so-so 80s comedy about the mob. Danny DeVito and Joe Piscapo play mobster friends on the low end of the totem poll who each have on contract on the others' life.

Andrew K (ru) wrote: Note to self: original title 'Virus', marketed in Italy as 'Zombi 5' and in the UK as 'Zombie Creeping Flesh'. On the want-to-see list.

Brian P (us) wrote: Nice to see Bridges as a young actor here.

Paul J (jp) wrote: A mesmerizing experience. It may have among the most beautiful black-and-white cinematography I have ever witnessed. It's a more captivating film that Shindo's previous horror film Onibaba. I dare say I enjoyed it even more than masterpiece Kwadian. Considering it's a full-length story I was drawn into the characters and I found the score and sound design hypnotic. A truly creepy ghost story that for '68, definitely took some risks. Both the subject matter and some of the explicit visuals.

Timm S (fr) wrote: Has Some Decent ( Slapstick) Laughs, But Isn't Consistent. Very Hit & Miss.

Brandon S (ag) wrote: What it lacks in subtlety, "Black Hawk Down" more than makes up for in bracing combat and high octane filmmaking from a true master.

Michael S (gb) wrote: This movie was a hit and run in it self. While I will give it credit for some interesting film techniques (the high speed driving), the rest of it was as lively as... well, road kill. The acting was barely passible. The characters weren't engaging, and I was actually glad when the boyfriend was found dead. I'd rather collide with a train than watch this movie again.
