William M (ca) wrote: An interesting twist on this sci-fi genre but it's not a great film and peters out to an inevitable Disappointing conclusion.

Jennifer T (ru) wrote: Boring. Poorly directed.

Rob M (nl) wrote: Me as a Mexican living in the US didn't find any sense in this movie, very slow, bad direction, awfull screenplay, poor performances, characters with no sense of the story, just a very bad movie. I expected more, all the clichs of hispanic people living in the us are really bad projected in this film, to achieve a good character or good situations a good screenplay and direction is essential and this film lacked of this very important elements. Too bad cuz production seemed very big!

Simon D (kr) wrote: Watchable but pretty poor. Surprised to see David Carradine and Eva Mendes lower themselves to this mind.

Ice R (es) wrote: Brilliant and heartwrenching.

Mariola F (ag) wrote: Lovely story ,I've seen few time's this movie great entertainment

Irvin C (au) wrote: This is a classic from Chinese cinema. A dutiful wife married to a sickly man gets a visit from her husband's childhood best friend....who also happens to be her high school sweetheart and true love. What could have been a sappy, standard-issue sentimental weepie flick is of course given an artistic and emotional treatment. The third act in particular is spectacular. It takes a while to get there but once it does, it hits hard. This is "In the Mood for Love" before "In the Mood for Love".

Bryan T (ca) wrote: Ben Whishaw + Cheng Pei Pei are just brilliant in a film about love that was lost in culture, generation and translation...

Greg W (mx) wrote: some where good and funny but as a whole not so much
