Meredith W (it) wrote: As per the title, "Penguins of Madagascar" focuses on the four penguins from the Madagascar films. When the four penguins have a run-in with a new villain, Dave, they are forced to team up with another group of animal secret agents to stop Dave's evil plan. The result is a cute and funny movie filled with memorable vocal performances (John Malkovich and Benedict Cumberbatch). With loads of adult humour, like celebrity pun mentions, make it fun for adults too.

Ryan G (fr) wrote: How the hell did I miss this and find it for the first time surfing NETFLIX? great movie based on the DANCIN' OUTLAW : JESCO WHITE... took a VERY dark approach and was a great watch, VERY COOL soundtrack with a lot of HASIL ATKINS ,,,, the guy that played Jesco really reminded me of a young Bruce Campbell as well, cant recommend this enough, It would be in your best interest to seek out THE DANCIN' OUTLAW first though and learn about Jesco first though ...

Tom G (ca) wrote: Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

WS W (us) wrote: A French movie, leading by current big names in show biz like Gael Morel, Elodie Bouchez, Stephane Rideau, Frederic Gorny, dealing with issues of the backdrop of The Algerian War (1954-1962), adolescents' coming-of-age, sexuality anxiety & confusion, etc. The movie was pleasant overall, serious but not heavy. Bouchez was such a sweetie in it.

Joseph M (br) wrote: This movie is nowhere near as good as I remember it being when I was a kid.

Ritvik M (es) wrote: Best things - Dersu's intro, his first couple of trivia, when captain and Dersu meet again, also the first goodbye, they way they have shot sun.Worst things - pace is slow, doesn't build up. End sort of unresolved.

Adam R (us) wrote: "Haven't you ever met a man who could make you happy?" "Sure, lots of times."

Leo M (de) wrote: no need to drag this out into a 97 minute flick with no heart.

Farah R (us) wrote: What a complete waste of time. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Tim W (au) wrote: An enjoyable comedy set in the forefront of the depression era in America. The film does tackle and raise social and political questions which still stand up today, however making a film revolving around a wealthy Hollywood producer meeting a down-on-her luck actress turned tramp is sort of hampered by the fact that she is played by a very well-known Hollywood actress and does not physically look poor at all. Unfortunately some aspects (like certain portrayals and acting) have not aged particularly well in this film.

David B (it) wrote: its no donnie brasco and the ending is a bit of a cop out speaking of cops it would have been nice seeing there view/input in this. instead we have an undercover rogue going after his old neighborhood/friends that dont know hes a cop, pretty much just making things worse. some cast but didnt even realize that was gary oldman
