(jp) wrote: On September 24th 2013 my son was born. I stood there in the hospital holding him in my arms, smiling, crying, filled with a feeling I had never felt before. It was the happiest day of my life. Until tonight!!! I just finished "Zoombies" and it's way better than my son. It didn't cry, poop it's pants, or prevent me from having sex with my wife. Okay, actually that last one did happen she was so upset that I picked this for our movie night she went to bed but she's dumb anyway. Watch this movie. It will change your life.

(br) wrote: High School Musical is a 2006 movie/musical that's a romance while being a comedy at the same time. Troy, played by Zac Efron, and Gabriella, played by Vanessa Hudgens, meet each other at a New Year's party while singing karaoke. They eventually fall in love and date throughout their high school experience. HSM is a flick favorable to all ages and is a great family movie. Being that the main characters are teenagers, children who are around 10 can relate because they're looking forward to being a teenager and experiencing what Troy and Gabriella are experiencing. But adults in their 20s/30s can also relate because it brings them back to their high school years and lets them relive their adolescence for a few hours. Overall High School Musical is a movie/musical for people of all ages and is a wonderful romantic comedy.

(ru) wrote: 5.5 Nothing new and not done well. Good actors and good directors (Hilary Birminghm) can take an old repackaged story and make for a pleasant and enjoyable film, a nice way to pass the time. But mediocre acting and uninspired directing of an unoriginal story just makes for relatively boring two hours. Julianne Nicholson does the best job.

(es) wrote: A must see film, powerfully depicts the events that transpired in Algiers in 1954-1957. The gritty black and white cinematography greatly adds to the documentary style ambience.

(ca) wrote: For the occasional faults in its substance, Locke is an inventive one-man show experiment that works in its technical prowess and impressive performance from its leading man. The film, simply 85 minutes of phone calls and introspective character moments in one single location, is something unique, but it often jumps back and forth from being profound in its subtlety to feeling a bit tedious. Even as a whole, there's not a lot of closure to each arc presented, but as a character study about an average man, it's understandable that a film about life is so meandering. Our meandering lead is Ivan Locke; as Mr. Locke, Tom Hardy, as well as writer/director Steven Knight, has crafted a hard hitting character, one who never has to scream or get physical to show anger, or bawl to show sadness. As he always seems to do, Hardy infuses this character, and this film as a whole. with such a quiet sense of raw power and emotion that makes for a stunning cinematic experience.
