The Human Centipede
During a stopover in Germany in the middle of a carefree road trip through Europe, two American girls find themselves alone at night when their car breaks down in the woods. Searching for help at a nearby villa, they are wooed into the clutches of a deranged retired surgeon who explains his mad scientific vision to his captives' utter horror. They are to be the subjects of his sick lifetime fantasy: to be the first to connect people, one to the next, and in doing so bring to life "the human centipede."
plans to recreate a horrific operation with humans that he performed on his three beloved dogs: reverse-engineering Siamese triplets by attaching their digestive systems. . You can read more in Google, Youtube, Wiki

We have here the viewpoint of the nice guy not thinking too much of the consequences. Being too strong can tempt to use the strenght and bring more trouble than affordable. The story stays on the nice side of things throughout and much of it is populated by dreams. This is a bit like whitewashing the war makers and bombers. That would be the lesson.

This particular weekend marks the anniversary of the death of Danes' mother (Pfeiffer) who died two years ago, on her 35th birthday. Gallagher has never quite dealt with the death of his wife, and he actually has conversations with her and envisions her as though she were still alive. When Pfeiffer's sister (Baker) announces she intends to seek legal custody of Danes due to Gallagher's loosening grip on reality, he realizes he has to do something to put the past behind him and look toward the future. Adapted from the play by Michael Brady, David E. Kelley's screenplay has nicely opened up the stage work to involve more characters and locations while still keeping the sentiments of the original in tact. Unassuming and unpretentious, there are no Ghost-like special effects when Pfeiffer appears, no car-chase scenes, and no bloody violence. Just the calm of the New England waves as a backdrop to a poignant story of a father and daughter trying to rebuild their relationship.

The storyline for this picture is just average but the characters, songs, and script is well done. The acting is excellent and the cast includes Gene Kelly, Frank Sinatra, Dean Stockwell, Kathryn Grayson, and Pamela Britton."You deserve to be lonesome. Lonesome is too good for you."This was added to Netflix with a host of other Sinatra films not too long ago and I added them all to my wish list. This was just above average and could have been better; however, I did love watching Kelly and Sinatra play off each other and the stories told and sang by Kelly were solid. I recommend seeing this once for fans of the classics."I don't want to join the police. I want to join the navy."Grade: B-

I realized that I ended up enjoying this allot more for the second time it's been viewed in years! Director Favreau Once again brought us something special here, not just with memorable characters, but with an interesting origin story, and heart pounding action! Only wish that the rest of the cinematic universe didn't have it's fair share of mistakes which came along in the years afterwards.
